Large bedrooms. Old interiors in bedrooms. Dinner service 7.45 until 9.00pm. Same table allocated for breakfast and dinner throughout stay. Very bright, large dining room. Good food though set menu. Good breakfast. Reception areas large and attractive. An extremely traditional hotel that needs a more modern approach.

With regard to the modern approach, it is only right that I confess that ours is a choice in respect of the classic hotellerie, while, although we prefer antique furniture and rapé carpets. we have gladly unleashed our creativity in the design rooms on the fifth floor. Regarding the menu, I would like to take this opportunity to point out that every day the menu changes, usually offering: a green buffet of both cooked and raw vegetables, an appetiser, three or four first courses, a vegetarian dish and three or four main courses of both meat and fish.

Great for a short or long getaway
Classy, old world hotel, spa and terme. Fabulous decor throughout with attention to details. It's the first hotel I've stayed in where cherubs didn't seem out of place. A wide variety of spa and mud treatments available or you can just relax in the thermal pools inside or use the swim out tunnel. The only minor issue is arriving before or staying after check in or check out. There isn't a secure place to store you luggage as you lounge in one of their provided robes. The White Gloves restaurant has outstanding service and multiple options from the set menu for most specialty diets.

Nice hotel; very nice pools
Large comfortable room. Air conditioning was only effective in the separate sitting room. Adequate breakfast, but the breakfast support staff seemed overwhelmed. Very nice grounds and pools. Complimentary pool towels was a nice touch. Staff very friendly and helpful. Convenient onsite parking; good wifi.

Very rood staff.
One of the worst hotel I ever been. Beside the fact that is very old staff is very rood. During breakfast they were very unorganized and all tables were dirty, buffet was empty and the only thing they care was to prepare the restaurant for lunch.

This hotel is huge and we were expecting a smaller venue. It has hot springs, must have a bathing cap for both men and women, and almost everyone there was 80 years old or older. Disappointed that nothing had been remodeled. Easy parking.

RELAX AND ENJOY
As per, Abano Ritz excells. Always a pleasure to stay there and relax. Pools are amazing and the hydro massages out of this world. Rather busy when we stayed there and polside became crowded.

nice hotel, 350 - 400 meters from the center
Stayed there one night, at A corner room on the 3rd floor. An old style, very comfortable hotel, comfortable room, large bath, Large indoor swimming pool, nice gym, too small dry Sauna. 400 meters walk from the center. excellent free parking facility, and free Wi Fi. Nice breakfast, but variety and quality of food in the restaurant could be improved.

The hotel was in good location.the breakfast is good and large,but we had to to pay an extra for omelette! 5 stare!,the outdoor pool is nice but not large enough and no many stations of water stream .

NOT A FIVE STAR HOTEL
This is an OK hotel but very dated and needing. They say it is a 5 star but truth is that it is really a 3 or 4 at best. Only international plug was in the bath room and very nosey thin walls.

Excellent hotel and service
I had the chance to stay at three different five star hotels in the Abano Terme region. The Ritz is by far the best. There are no hidden fees (towel/robe rental/internet). Their breakfast is incredible. I strongly recommend this resort for relaxation and comfort.

certainly not a 5-star place!
I had a reasonable rate for three days of stay and this was the only positive feature. The hotel is outdated, location is not convenient, our windows faced a busy road, there was no balcony or terrace. The room was gloomy with old-fashioned tasteless furniture. The room was big though and had large beds. The bathroom had a very poor set of toiletries and very old worn-out towels. The breakfast room was not cosy at all, the choice of food was reasonable but nothing you would expect in a 5-star place. The pools are ok, but the underwater massage amenities are below the modern standard. One morning I saw a cleaner standing in the swimming pool washing its inner walls with a detergent , needless to say I never entered the pool again. The general feeling is that the hotel is just "surviving".

The Hotel Abano Ritz in Abano Terme
Beautiful hotel with lots of character and charm. Very clean, wonderful spa facilities, quiet. Excellent customer service. A little out of the way location for travellers using public transportation. Requires a taxi as there is no shuttle from the train. Lots of parking for guests using their own car. Great place to go for rest and relaxation.

Abano Ritz, Italy - What an outstanding experience
A fabulous hotel, beautiful surrounding, friendly staff, personal attention, clean, elegant, upscale, and the food... was out of this world!!! I have traveled the world quite a bit, and I have never experienced such a wonderful place. I will plan to definitely return. Very highly recommended.

My wife and I began our honeymoon in Abano Terme having heard about the geothermally heated pools in the region. We stayed just one night before continuing on to Venice and Eastern Europe. Having rented a car from Milan and driving to Abano Terme, we did get a little bit lost trying to find the hotel. We might have done better renting the GPS offered. However when we walked into the beautiful lobby at The Ritz we knew our honeymoon would be off to a great start. The lobby is opulent with paintings and woven rugs. The receptionist greeted us in English and made us feel comfortable before giving us our large metal room key,I love those. We arrived at around 8pm and were most interested in going to the pool of course. After dropping off our luggage in our large room with a small separate sitting area and a very comfortable king size bed with high count sheets and a great comforter we put on our hotel provided robes and headed for the pool area. The entrance is great as you walk in and look down upon the large indoor pool with 30 foot plus ceilings and then walk down the stairs to the pool area. The water was very refreshing and somewhere around 90 degrees farenheit. There is a sauna and tanning bed available also in this great room. We used the sauna for the entire fifteen minute sand hour glass kept time before getting in the pool. There are additional stairs in the corner of this pool room leading down into an outdoor pool that is heated even warmer. The air temperature was about 35 degrees farenheit that night but the pool was so warm it was no factor. In fact the water that is jet fed into the pool is piping hot. After a great swim we retired to our room for a great night's rest. Early the next morning, my wife took advantage of the spa services that came with the package including a mud bath and stone therapy. She was extremely happy and relaxed. It was Great!

Hotel dall'ambiente piacevole ed elegante
L'hotel ha una bellissima hall in stile classico, anche la sala ristorante è molto bella, il cibo ottimo e ben servito. Gli intrattenimenti sono piacevoli, in particolare il concerto di un giovane talentuoso pianista. Su richiesta prestano biciclette con cui si possono fare belle passeggiate in zona. Le puscine sono belle, molto spaziose, ma quella interna un po' retrò, comunque bella e pulitissima. Le stanze spaziose, con ampi servizi, sono anch'esse un po' retrò, il servizio in camera, comunque molto puntuale, ha presentato qualche piccolissima dimenticanza. Sarebbe gradito uno spazio asciugabiancheria, accanto alle piscine, per asciugare gli accappatoi.
