"L'Oiseau de l'Océan was an amazing discovery. It was clean, well-kept and the staff were very helpful. The shuttle was a nice touch ensuring that trips to the beach and Cascavelle were easy. I also enjoyed the on-site sauna. My only complaint is that the wifi was weak and to make calls, I needed to step outside my room. I didn't mind much because I was on vacation and so didn't need to work. Special commendation goes to Jessica and Richard for going above and beyond."

"Highly recommendable. Everything I need was there and it was clean everywhere though I stayed a room without bath, toilet and kitchen. "From the moment we walked in, we felt at home at Villa Sere. The view was stunning, the pool inviting and the space very clean. Finally a well equipped kitchen for a couple that actually cooks. We spent many hours lounging in the sun chairs under the shades, watching birds in the trees and the sun sparkle off the bay. The housekeeper Mary was our main point of contact and was very communicative and friendly. Close to a major grocery store as well, and easy access to the highways to cross the island. A gem of a property, and all at an amazing price."

"Overall the Westin Turtle is a perfectly good option to consider if you just want somewhere to sit and bathe in the sun. The beach area is clean with plenty of sand but the best area's to swim in the sea as via the area given over to another hotel - nothing stopping you using it but sunbeds etc are not for Westin customers. Plenty to do whilst on site with various events laid out during the day to make things fun. All of the staff were attentive and helpful but special shout out goes to Vivek, Mafoozah and Jeevan who made our stay very comfortable. We visited in September and that appears to be considered a quiet month so certain restaurants and options are not running, these were not told to us at any point, we just discovered it by chance. We decided to eat outside of the resort on most nights - a personal choice over anything wrong - but when we cannot fault the quality of the food or the service. I don't know how Westin compares to other similar hotel but for us it met our expectations and allowed us to have a stress free holiday."

"A perfect hideaway on the west coast in Mauritius. The house was so well equipped, having our own pool was amazing & watching the sun go down over the sea was just magic. Not to mention the amazing wildlife; birds, hermit crabs & bats.You need a car to get around if staying here, but that wasn't a problem. Mary the housekeeper was incredible & comms. with Rachel the host was timely, friendly & informative. I would definitely stay here againThankyou for a magical stay"

They can provide dinner at a reasonable price, which is good because there are no restaurants nearby. They were helpful in arranging a taxi for me into town and to my cruise ship."
