The beds are absurdly comfortable, the environs so quiet and full of things to look at. I learned an incredible amount of local history, as well. Plus the breakfast! The fresh toast, the parfait, the scrambled eggs…it was worth getting up for. It’s a magical place, it truly is. We left feeling more like family than guests. Our hosts were knowledgeable and kind, and truly love Annapolis Royal. Plus…there is a scavenger hunt. I’ll say no more. Made our trip super easy, bbq in the back. The fridge was supplied with butter, milk, cream. Muffins on the counter. A good location for sightseeing the area, its right in the middle of all the good stuff. The owner is super nice and accommodating.
