"The Gut Stiluppe just finished its renovation, and while the new parts look stunning, the upgrade has yet to proliferate to all parts of the place activity. Specifically, it feels the kitchen needs to really improve - morning eggs arrived at odd shapes (like scrambled eggs that weren’t scrambled before fried), and coffee with regular milk after we explained of a lactose intolerance. I think it will take a bit more time until the service gets to the level of facilities."

"The room was large and clean, with excellent bed linen and pillows. Upon request a coffee machine (using ese pods) was brought to the room, free of charge. The spa facilities are extensive, very well maintained and clean. The 20m outdoor lap pool is amazing, and a good temperature to actually do some proper swimming. Dinner was consistently excellent, as was the service. The only negative I can think of is that smoking is allowed anywhere on the terrace - I realise this is still (unfortunately) the norm in Austria, but it seems especially odd in a hotel that is focused on health, nature and the outdoors. Ideally smokers should be kept separate so we don't all have to suffer!"

"I can’t say enough good things about Hotel Jager. We did half board and the food was great! The hotel is spotless and everything is kept in great condition. The spa facilities are a must visit. The hot tub overlooks the mountains. There are swing chairs that are very relaxing. The sauna felt so good because it was a little chilly outside. The staff is hard-working and they put a lot of care in everything they do. I highly recommend this hotel and the half board option that’s available."
