Historic Farmhouse with Pool & Hot Tub in Wine Country, Near Washington, DC

"Beautiful property with plenty of things to do. House is well furnished and comfortable. We really enjoyed the pool and hot tub and outside seating areas. Grocery stores close by and easy access to good restaurants. We had a problem with the pool on our last day and the owner responded promptly. We definitely plan to return!"

"My wife and I stayed one night at the Loudoun Valley Manor returning from a friend's wedding recently. We had a great stay and found the property to be really cute and quiet. It's a small place (relatively speaking). Our room was up 1 flight of stairs, and the bathroom dedicated for our room had to be accessed by 3 stair steps (just the constraints of the construction of the home). This is just a note for anyone with any accessibility concerns. The room was comfortable and we slept really well. In the morning, breakfast was served downstairs, and one of the property owners (Olga) was making breakfast for the guests. My wife particularly enjoyed the omelette Olga made for her! We would definitely stay here again!"

"We had a great stay at the Morrisonville Manor. The house was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a weekend stay. My group loves to cook, so we were happy to find the kitchen was well-stocked with cooking basics (e.g., oil, spices) and lots of cookware. The house was also very toddler-friendly with a high chair in the pantry and a pack-and-play available on request. The only minor downside was a sulfuric smell when running the faucets - thankfully the fridge had filtered water and ice for drinking, but you'll likely encounter it when you shower or use the sinks. The water's still potable so not a huge issue, but it could be a bit unpleasant. Overall, we had a great stay and would come again!I also highly recommend a visit to the Harpers' Ferry Water Park (about 30min drive away) if you have the time. It's an outdoor inflatable waterpark in a quarry and is lots of fun!"

"The temperature in the room was set up at 73° and the thermostat was locked. The attendant did not want to unlock it, and I had to demand the owner of the property to be called at which time the key for the box was found, and I was allowed to adjust the temperature in the room."

"The house was amazing for our very large family over Thanksgiving. Clean, well stocked with everything you could possibly need, and plenty of room for both adults and kids to have their own areas. The host was very proactive getting us the arrival and departure information. We have rented over a dozen homes over the years for our family Thanksgiving get together and this one was by far the best."
