"Beautiful property with a garden, a hot tub, and forest along the back of the property. Be aware that there tend to be a lot of deer on the roughly 4 miles of country/forest road from the main road to the inn. The inn is very nice inside. There's a huge foyer and dining room when you enter. The bedroom suites are on the second floor and all have small balconies that overlook the dining area. The room we stayed in was clean with a large bathroom with a shower with a jetted tub. The tub fits one person comfortably; two people would be a bit of a squeeze. There is free coffee/tea in the dining area, and a bar room, where you can pay extra for alcoholic drinks. There's also an entertainment room with a pool table and a decent collection of DVDs and Blurays you can take up to your room to watch. The staff and owner are very friendly and helpful. We had a problem with the Bluray player in our room, and within 5 minutes of texting the owner about the problem, they replaced the player. Breakfasts were good, and a good size (not small, but also not too large). Breakfast is scheduled for 9 AM. However, on the first night we were there, we were the only guests, so when the owner asked when we would like breakfast and we said we'd like to rest and move slowly, she happily pushed the time back to 10:30 for us. A very enjoyable and peaceful getaway!"

"We reserved this beautiful house so we could attend our Grandson’s wedding. The house was perfect for us. We had another couple, my sister, plus 5 grandchildren, and we all had space for privacy as well as plenty of space for us to all congregate together. The house is unique, and is stocked better than any home we’ve rented before. Kitchen fully equipped, and with extras. Plenty of bedding supplies, towels, and toiletries. Beautiful pool and hot tub all equipped with beach towels, pool toys and floatables, even swim goggles and sunscreen!!! They thought of everything Adding to the fun, the house had a foosball table, arcade games, puzzles, board games, books - you name it - it was there. Special treat! It has a cotton candy machine! And a Hawaiian sno cone machine!!The host is thoroughly accommodating and a real pleasure to work with. Excellent communication and very informative. One of the best rentals we’ve had. Definitely deserves a 5 star rating, and a 10 on a scale of 1 to 10!Would definitely do again, and would definitely reserve any properties sponsored by this host. Highly recommend"

"Overall our stay was very nice. We had two families spending a few days getting away from the city. The third floor shower/tub was not working upon arrival but the plumber (who we did not know was coming) did repair this quickly. There was a bit of a fly problem on the third floor however bug killer was likely used just before our arrival, so there were 50 or so dying flies in the tub and around the toilet in the third floor bathroom, however there was not a fly flying in the house, so win win. What is not advertised is the ongoing work for the tasting room sharing the same driveway as the house. There was construction equipment as well as building supplies stored around the house. The construction generally started at 7:30am, but workers arrived at 7. Generally work was done by 6 most nights. The grounds needed some upkeep. Last summers flowers and grasses were still present is some disarray, and spring flowers were starting to come up in the middle of them.Overall the beds were comfortable, the house was generally quite clean, especially for the historic age of the property, and it is set in a very quiet, and private area. We would have liked to have been apprised of the construction before hand. We spoke with the owner who was under the impression we had been notified, but posting “Tasting Room on site - opening May 2026” does not automatically suggest the property is a construction zone."

"The house was amazing for our very large family over Thanksgiving. Clean, well stocked with everything you could possibly need, and plenty of room for both adults and kids to have their own areas. The host was very proactive getting us the arrival and departure information. We have rented over a dozen homes over the years for our family Thanksgiving get together and this one was by far the best."
