This place is great lots of birds at tree level and the his and hers showers are a nice touch. It's quite a walk up to some of the rooms so bear that in mind. The hotel restaurant is good and is also close to another new restaurant on the beach. The breakfast was great and the hosts were good. One the nicer places in drake bay but also slightly expensive, I will also mention the mosquito grills on the vents did let small flies in but I was at the start of the rainy season too. All great...

The family are very friendly and happy to help, they cooked us a fresh breakfast every morning, even when we needed it at 5:20am. We had a great stay at Hotel Margarita. The staff were so helpful and nice. For example, they gave advice on how to get there as we weren't sure whether to drive or boat, then booked the boat for us and transported our luggage and us from the beach. The rooms spacious and clean and had everything we needed. The pool is nice to cool off in. We stayed 4 nights with our 2 teenagers and we all really liked it. Nice relaxed vibe.

We had a great 6 nights at Casa Gitana, we had a lovely room with a shady private patio, our room was cleaned everyday and the staff were great. Norlyn and Gabriella were great hosts, very friendly and helpful in organising a range of tours/activities and onward travel. The Cabinas are located within easy access of the centre of the village and the beach. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and guests had the use of a kitchen with cooking facilities and fridge which was a great bonus.
