"I really enjoyed my stay at The Balmacara Hotel! The staff is very nice and welcoming. The location is great for day trip over the Skye, as well as enjoying the views of the loch. The rooms were very nice and clean. I also had dinner and breakfast at the hotel which were fantastic as well!"

"I had a two night stay at Glenbrittle while visiting Isle of Skye. The room was comfy enough (a little cramped for ten people), the bathrooms were nice and very clean, the common areas were well stocked and cozy. There's also a great waterfall right across the road from the hostel and plenty of sheep and lambs to watch in the evenings. "

There’s lovely little bar and restaurant a couple minutes up the road where you can grab dinner. Note - this part of the island is really away from it all which makes it wonderful. Just know you’re not staying in a big town"

However, the property owner did not communicate via HomeAway nor did she apply the check-out times of the HomeAway website. Very difficult to get in touch and only communication via e-mails that kept ending up in my spam filter. Somewhat confusing."
