The setting, the buildings and the property were all as good as anyone could expect. We had a minor issue with our room that we was quickly resolved and a manager followed up with us to discuss it and ensure that everything was satisfactory. "The hotel is beautiful, major drawback is the lack of air conditioning. The hotel is very clean, well maintained facility located in a perfect spot in Carrick-on-Shannon. Plenty of parking around back. Like most hotels in Ireland, there was no early check in, even an hour or so, which is annoying for travelers looking to clean up then go exploring the area."
