"The hotel was clean and had fresh feel to it. The stag were friendly and accommodating to our requests. The only downside was the rooms could get very warm from the afternoon sun but the windows are able to be opened to let the cool Irish air in."

"Great location to monaghan town we stayed start of November and the only issue we had was the room was uncomfortably cold with no way to control the temperature we made several requests to front desk to rectify . Would not stay here again in the winter months"

"The owner was terrific. We had to leave at 6 am to catch a ferry, before she served breakfast. She fixed a breakfast to go for us the night before, it was so kind of her. Highly recommend this establishment."
