"The resort was in a great location. You can walk to the marina which takes about 20 minutes. The food was mid at best. One of the Asian restaurants was good, but it’s your typical all inclusive resort food. We liked getting access to the other two resorts near. Be prepared the Santa Fe next door is a crazy party resort and the music is super loud from your room mid day during the parties. If you are wanting a quiet resort this one isn’t for you. Service was great though. Staff was quick. We won’t book another riu because parties just aren’t our thing, we did like that they had non alcoholic options and a good selection of drinks to make that were NA! Overall decent and not wowed."

"We have been to the Hyatt Ziva several times and this was our best trip so far. Their renovations are substantially complete (amazing gym) and their service continues to improve. This years addition was a private butlers service. Ali, our personal butler, was fantastic. She kept in touch with us but didn’t hover….made our preferred dinner reservations every night and took care to fix any little annoyance we ran into. In addition she and Julie…the manager of the French restaurant,,,created a really special celebration for my husbands bday. A shout out needs to go to Julie’s wait staff as well…..Jorge, Gustavo, Roberto, Diego and Efrain gave us excellent service in our three visits to the French restaurant and sang and danced in the celebration of my husbands bday. The entire staff at the Hyatt gave us exceptional service…down to our departure and farewell from Carlos our bellboy"

"The Pueblo bonito sunset was great. The rooms were clean, staff was amazing, very nice and helpful. The resort is very big, they have carts that pick you up if you would like. The food was great, drinks were soso. It is a time share resort, so you do get hounded to attend the time share meetings, but it isn’t overwhelming. Lots of pools to choose from, adult only, to young adults, to children. Could use more servers around the pool area, service was a bit slow. Watch out for the up charges in you bill, they do try to get you, and there is a charges for the owners non profit that they put on there also, but ask them to take off and they will. Over all, very nice. Would go back for another stay. "
