Stunning setting with really friendly & helpful staff. The hotel had a lovely buzz & efficiently managed large groups (2 very big weddings & over 80 at Communion celebrations during our stay) with the differing needs of individual guests. Breakfast in the upstairs circular room was great, helped by wonderful views & the sun streaming in.

We found all the staff in the hotel extremely friendly and helpful. On our arrival a member of staff brought a very welcome cup of tea and slice of cake to our bedroom.

Good location

Everything was great . I have been to The Grand many a time, but never stayed but I can recommend it now as somewhere to stay to. Staff were very nice and good to see the owners Who haven’t changed a bit over the many years we have been going there, they never seem to forget a face . Many Thanks

Love this place

Stayed in a Garden Room, which was very nice, and larger than I expected. Lots of free parking. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was also nice.

They have a very nice house, with the price I paid, it's worth it. Nice garden, room space were good enough. Toilet no bath tub but its clean, No stress at all. Oh the breakfast taste nice. The Host was very friendly and welcoming overall it was a relaxing stay. Way much better compared to some 3 or 4 stars hotels.

The location was really lovely, right by the river. I especially enjoyed breakfasts sitting by the window with a lovely view of the river, and there were so many delicious options to choose from as well. The staff were so friendly and helpful as well.

Free onsite parking, close to the town centre, Comfy and clean room, excellent food and drinks, super friendly staff! Highly recommended 😀

I loved this hotel and will be back. My family and I stayed in a family room with king size bed and fold out sofa. The room was well decorated and comfortable. The bathroom was luxurious. Maher gave us such a warm and genuine welcome. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Easy to find, great location The rooms had everything you needed for a night stay I could of stayed longer if I had the time

Hotel was great,food good and staff very helpful and friendly.

Staying at Castle Lodge since many years and it never disappointed me. They have a beautifully renovated new guest lounge now and everyone of the staff is so friendly and eager to make the stay very pleasant. Breakfast is a delight

Nice staff, big apartment

Got an upgrade! Big room, ned, nice shower (glass door, not curtain). Didn't go for breakfast but bar next door serves great food. Although right in town centre, no noise from there and slept really well. Secure parking was available too which was great.

We were very happy with our room it was a bit dated however the staff and the cost we paid certainly made up for it
