We needed a hotel for a one night stopover in Toulouse and were pleasantly surprised by the standard of this hotel for the price paid. Our hotel room was bright, clean, comfortable and quiet - even though it was next to the lifts. There was a selection of complimentary refreshments on offer in the ...
This hotel is really good value. Staff are friendly and have excellent English skills. Hotel is clean and breakfast is good. It's extremely close to the airport. We will definitely continue to stay here on our frequent visits to Toulouse.
My dates had to be changed unexpectedly and everyone there was very understanding. Though I did not stay for a week as planned, they allowed me to add an extra room for one night without additional charge. I stayed there 2 nights and I would go back. It's a convenient place, close to transit and ...
The setting of this hotel is out of this world. Incredibly friendly owners. Quiet pool. It is out on its own with not much around but that's exactly what we wanted. Make sure you have breakfast outside overlooking that river. Just amazing! Pay extra for a river view room.
We arrived to a very friendly girl at reception, but as they visit went over three days the level of staff attention and friendliness varied. The room was smaller than our Ibis hotel in Paris. It seems that hotel rooms in France are so much smaller. However the bedding is uniform throughout the Ibis ...
Parking was easy, staff super friendly and helpful, room was comfortable, and restaurant on site was convenient with good food.
Huge room, with walk-in wardrobe, separate loo, bathroom with double basins, oval bathtub and walk-in shower. Only thing not to like was the noisy air conditioning. Outside extra large hot-tub available, and a patio with plenty of chairs and tables. Breakfast seemed expensive at 13 Euros.
Room small but adequate. Would be better if it included a small refrigerator. Very clean and the bed was comfortable. Restaurant good for dinner, breakfast just ok. Good location for getting about and seeing the sights.
More than 2,000 years of history have helped shape Toulouse into one of the most interesting and enjoyable cities in France. Sharing much in common with its close southern neighbor, Spain, the relaxed way of life makes the Pink City an ideal spot to spend a few lazy days – whether dipping in and out of wine bars, walking by the Garonne River or browsing the city’s many weekly markets.
Toulouse is also a hotbed of high-tech activity, scientific research and learning, with Europe’s major aviation companies and three prominent universities calling the city home. As such, its three-star hotels do an excellent job of catering for various target markets.
Business travellers are served extremely well in Toulouse, especially those who need to be based near the airport and the Blagnac headquarters of Airbus, while families and couples can choose from a number of well-located, mid-range places to stay in Toulouse city centre, including independent and heritage hotels, as well as many well-known chains.
Toulouse is a city made for wandering, with a show-stopping central square – the Place du Capitole – the obvious place to start. Head south for the old town’s twisty streets and quirky boutiques, or stroll over the Pont Neuf bridge to Prairie des Filtres park and garden. Here, you can picnic on the banks of the River Garonne, or catch an all-important rugby match on the big screen.
Back on the Right Bank, there are plenty of other attractions to occupy curious visitors, including the vast and historic Museum of Toulouse, which features many interactive exhibits and a family-friendly vibe. Or if you’re feeling more adventurous, the city-wide cycle-hire scheme, VélôToulouse, provides a over two hundred bike stations throughout the metropolitan area, making it one of the most cyclist-friendly destinations in all of France.
Whether you’re a business traveller looking for a functional place to work and sleep, or a holidaymaker seeking more characterful accommodation, Expedia’s range of three-star hotels, hostels and B&Bs in Toulouse is sure to have something to suit.
