"As a first impression. Our booking was cancelled 3days before our arrival by the hotel. I only learned this because I wanted to check the check in policy. I chose the option to pay at the hotel, however I never at any stage of the booking process was asked to provide any bank details. Hence I was surprised when querying the cancellation with hotels.com I was told that the hotel had withdrawn my reservation due to failing taking payment. Without any notification was this done. I would recommend...

"A very pleasant wellness-type country hotel. The furnishings are a little old and one of the beds in my room wasn’t very comfortable (but the other one was ok). However the rooms are spacious and comfortable. Staff are very friendly and helpful I’d be happy to stay there again. "
