Mount Wallace is one of Moorabool Shire's little known gems. Travel south from Bacchus Marsh towards Rowsley and then west along Glenmore Road to see a pretty green valley surrounded by green hills and craggy outcrops. Then climb the hairpin bends at Mount Wallace. At the junction with the Geelong - Ballan Road turn right for an enjoyable cup of tea in Ballan (priced $1 at 'Opportunities on Inglis' op shop).
