"This is a unique property the main building dates back to the 1880's which contains the restaurant, which has an excellent menu, the hotel reception and pub. The room we got was amazing one bedroom with separate lounge and kitchen "

"Wow! Outstanding winner of our best motel award. Friendly welcome and check-in ready. The newly installed units were amazing, extremely well appointed, warm and comfortable. We are certain that they would be as welcoming in hot weather. Great view across to the Flinders Ranges, and a first-class bathroom were the most significant aspects of our stay. Only a few of the 80 or so units have the view, as it is a single level motel. The only disappointment was that they do not provide a hot...

"Stamped earth buildings are naturally insulated so this room on a cold night was warm and comfortable, beds were great, but as a suggestion if you want toast in the morning bring your own."

"This property has a great ambience and rural outlook. It is ideal for motorbikes, with safe parking outside the cabins, and access to well-formed dirt and flowing bitumen roads. The bakery serves fabulous food - breakfast and lunch, and there are towns nearby where pubs, a brewery, groceries and other dining options are available. We'll be back. "

"Only issue was the door rattles in the wind, but a bag up against it and was fixed. Just needs a bit of the felt sticky surround put on the door jam. Clean, tidy, quiet, good value. I'll be back. "
