"My wife’s parents got married in this property 70 years ago, so we decided to stay here as part of our family history trip. The building is from the 1700s but it has been updated and has a ton of charm. The key boxes were all checked: the bed was comfortable, it was quiet at night and the water pressure was good. A full welsh breakfast was included. We also had dinner in the restaurant. It was a bit pricey but tasty. The staff was wonderful: hard working and attentive. Would definitely stay...

"We ended up here, after our booking at another hotel was cancelled, it was the best thing that could have happened. The location is perfect for Aberaeron town. "Owners Sean and Sandra could not have been more helpful, nothing was too much trouble for their guests. The bar restaurant actually was a B&B not just a room and a key. "We had an absolutely lovely weekend staying at The Royal Oak. The location was perfect for a relaxing weekend away. The scenery was breathtaking and we had a lovely view from our room. The room was very clean and nicely decorated. This is a traditional pub, very cosy and again nicely decorated but retaining its traditional charm. The landlord and landlady were extremely helpful. Above all, this is dog friendly accommodation, a must for us. We would definitely stay here again. "

"We stayed 6 nights at this wonderful, homey location! We stayed in the Brewhouse and loved every minute we were there. Made a fire about every evening and read till bedtime...even the 9 year old that was with us! Didn't turn on the TV 1 time! Feels like you are in the middle of nowhere but a small town is only 5 minutes away. The only cons were: Breakfast not included unless you are in a B&B room - the brewhouse is not considered to be. And that we couldn't stay longer! Thanks, Rupert!...

"Helen & Matt are first class hosts and The Mill offers a peaceful, relaxed break in beautiful surroundings. As many others have said, breakfast is of hotel quality and freshly cooked to order. For our evening meals we took an easy 11 mile drive to Llandeilo where there were several options. Visiting National Botanic Gardens was easy (once we used a map and ignored SatNag!) and that's an excellent day trip. We rarely visit the same place twice, however, we wouldn't hesitate to return to The Mill...
