The Mill is a converted mill, furnished and equipped to an exceptional standard, keeping its traditional style with a touch of class. It offers an ideal holiday base for friends and family. The picturesque fishing town of Aberaeron is only six miles away with its large harbour encased by pastel-shaded Georgian houses. A short drive inland leads to the rural and traditional towns of Lampeter and Tregaron, where the Welsh language is mostly used by the locals. Tregaron feels almost untouched by the 21st century and is a bastion of the Welsh language and culture. The river running through the town centre leads to Cors Caron, a national nature reserve of peat bog which is one of the most impressive wildlife areas in Wales; home to rare marsh grasses, black adders, buzzards and even the occasional red kite. A perfect opportunity to discover the real Wales. Shops 3 miles, pub in village.

My family and I enjoyed our stay at the Mill cottage the facilities were very good, we did contact the owners regarding a few a few issues, the WiFi was not working ( this was a problem because due to the current situation you have make a reservation at a restaurant or a tourist attraction and we were not able to do this, unless you travel to the nearest town, ) there was a water leak from the large window ( during heavy rain ) in the lounge area near to the television we had to mop the water up, the hot tub had 2 securing catches snapped, in high winds the cover was flipping over I had to use the water hose pipe to secure the cover, I did inform the pool man about the problem he said new catches were on order. The children's play area needs new ground covering because the children using the facility were coming back very dirty due to the ground was water logged and area very muddy,
All our family feel the cottage had not had a deep clean due to the amount of cobwebs and spiders around the cottage, we understand that we in a rural location but there was a lot of spiders.

The Mill was a very nice cottage.
The Mill was a very nice cottage. On arrival we didn't have any internet and we also experienced a leak from the upstairs radiator which came down through the light. I contacted the owner and it was dealt with very quickly.
I did feel that not being able to use the hot tub after 9pm was way too early considering that we were out all day and then for dinner. Nothing about this is mentioned when booking.
The mattresses on the beds were very uncomfortable, very hard and all our party experienced bad nights sleep from this.
The area is nice. There were lots of leaflets in the cottage advertising local things but this was a collection by previous people that had stayed. I do feel that some more local recommendations of places to see and visit nearby would be a good addition to the handbook.
