"Botanica was a sweet home away on the outside; on the inside a calming and well appointed residence. Our family of 4 found it met our every need. It felt a real escape from the city. From the house though, if we wanted shops and restaurants, we could just walk to the main street. The heating was cosy, and the log fire created a lovely evening atmosphere. The lighting was beautiful. The crockery and appliances were great. The claw-footed bath was a treat."

"Gorgeous house and beautifully restored with period features and all the comforts you need. And has best central heating for Daylesford's winter nights! Was a great girls weekend away. Lots of room big table for gatherings comfy sofas everything you need to have a relaxing weekend. Also close to the main steeet however we enjoyed the house so much we didn't venture out that often!"

"We stayed in Number 2. Very spacious and comfortable apartment in a fantastic location. Looking a little tired Kitchen cupboards needing adjustments, shower screen we re-aligned not opening properly. Fantastic and comfortable couches and like the bed head all needing a deep clean."

"Nice place to stay overall. Nice warm gas heating and well equiped kitchen. Still no shower curtain in the bottom bathroom so we all used the shower upstairs to save a mess. Bit hard to find at night. A sign at the gate would be helpful."

"We arrived in the dark on a cold winters night, to an inviting house, with the lights on & heater roaring. Inside was a perfect room for couples, clean & fresh. To add to the welcome feeling, in there was a bag of quality goodies, including a large continer of Milk, not just those little sample ones. It was a perfect location, with an easy walk to town. Would recommend to any couple looking for a getaway to picturesque Daylesford. "

"We found the accommodation to be very nice. The only issues we had were, 1) Finding the place, the directions weren’t great. The people at the Accommodation office weren’t overly helpful, stating “ that they never had a problem before??” 2) We had a wedding at 3:30pm and we understood that check in was 3:00 pm but we asked if we could get in a bit earlier if nobody was staying in the room. Even tho nobody was staying, the staff seemed extremely reluctant to let us in to get changed If that’s...
