The front desk staff, cleaning staff and restaurant staff are all incredible - so friendly & extremely hard working and they made our visit extra memorable! The restaurant was terrific and we highly recommend! Free breakfast to start the day could not be beat! Dinner with a view was spectacular! The only issues we had were: our room was completely interior and we missed having natural light and any type of view would have been appreciated (not that we spent too much time there!) as well, the good thing is that this hotel is on a mountain and has the best view ever and the bad thing is that it is on a mountain and you must take a taxi everywhere!!!! Walking on the minimal shoulder of the road is not recommended!!! We had expected to do some walking to local attractions and that was not possible (disappointing.) All in all, a wonderful hotel that I would recommend for its charm, cleanliness and outstanding staff and hospitality!! This may have been the aftermath of a kids bday party earlier in the afternoon that took over the entire pool and outside lounge area. Like 20+ kids and their parents. I think the hotel did the best they could with the rowdy parties, so I don’t hold the staff responsible. The hotel could have more security as I did not see any other than at the front door. But I would without hesitation stay here again.
