"An Airbnb experience, without all the airbnb crap!"
Unbelievable! If I was going back within 6 months, I would not even post this, because I would keep it to myself.
This is literally an apartment that some entrepreneur convinced a landlord to rent as a hotel room. The entire apartment (bedroom/living combined, kitchen and bathroom) is a total of perhaps 25 meters square, however it had such a comfortable feel that I had a hard time leaving it. Of course, it was cold outside, but it was so comfy. I spent easily 14 hours of the day there. I suppose after awhile it will become a hotel experience, but right now, as of December 1, 2014, it is awesome. For right now, there is good internet, an excellent 30" TV with 25 stations (most in Polish, except CNN), good kitchen, hot water and clean sheets.
It is in the center, of literally, the center. The price, at the time of this posting, was $34 a night. Again, this will probably not last. The entrepreneur may get tired or the landlord may want more money or many other things can happen. However, right now this is an excellent place to stay.
I can give this place the highest rating possible for an apartment in a Polish neighborhood living like a normal Warsaw Pole. The question is, will it last? If you want a true communistic, bland building with a very good apartment, this is it.
