Loved this hotel. Really clean and modern. The excellent Justine coild not have been more welcoming. Complimentary drinks for the room were welcome. Great for base for the main sites of Deadwood.

Ponderosa pines was an absolute dream, great communication, lodges were clean and well equipped, 5 min drive from Deadwood and lead, beautiful area, beautiful scenery, great experience

Spacious and comfortable bedroom. All staff friendly and very helpful. Breakfast good quality and well managed. Swiming pool well kept and relaxing. Neat and friendly town. A great few days rest nestled in the Black Hills after being on the road for a week.

Staff were friendly and hotel was clean. Good location for visiting attractions.

Located in the heart of Deadwood, perfect place to stay with free car parking

Lovely, friendly welcome. Room was huge and spotless. Bed was very comfortable. Bathroom was enormous - great shower- lovely clean towels. Excellent location.

Great stay.

We arrived early and, as expected, our room wasn't ready. Unfortunately the hotel has nowhere to store luggage so we had to leave it in our vehicle on a public car park which isn't ideal. At the time of writing, August 2025, the car park is free to guests as the hotel car part is under renovation, Check in was smooth and the room was large and clean. Staying in such an historic hotel while in Deadwood was fantastic.

it was a good stay

A wonderful old hotel that has all the amenities of a modern hotel. The staff were very kind and helpful. Bed's really comfy and a nice lot of fluffy towels. Would 100% stay here again and recommend to anyone. Also wifi really good. And within walking distance of everything. Also pizza was a nice bonus especially as they did gluten-free.

Great place to stay.

Lady at reception was very friendly and helpful on check in and at breakfast

Everything with this property was great. But they HAVE to sort out some kind of map for guests to show where the parking is because the description I received was comically bad and it took me 45 mins to find. Other than that it is a clean and well run little hotel.

Great location for the Sturgis Rally , quiet but within easy reach of everything and pleasant to return to at the end of the day. Great Soul Food. Are in nearby gas station for the morning double espresso!

What a awesome hotel, staff was super friendly and helpful with excellent information of what to do in deadwood Parking was very good, located at the end of deadwood so not too far distance to walk or drive Room was clean and well maintained Breakfast was very good with well stocked items Would certainly stop again

Got a huge room but it was a little noisy at times as at the top of the stairs. There are road works close by but we never heard them at all. Welcome ftom receptionist was good. Plenty of restaurants close by plus a wallmart and fuel station. Breakfast had a good variety - usual fast breakfast buffet. Good choice of hotel.
