"WiFi was down, ice machine not working, had to change rooms because first one had broken A/C….second room had great A/C but broken tv. Bed was very comfortable and staff was awesome but this hotel needs some major upgrades."

"The room was aged, but clean and comfortable. The first room i was assigned had a malfunctioning a.c. I spoke to the front desk and had a new room assignment with zero hassle, the clerk was curteous and quick to relocate me."

"Room was real nice but not stocked the best. Property was nice, clean. My only complaint is that the pool was not maintained. Flowers off bushes blow into water, making it very hard too swim. Hot tub was totally closed! "

"At the moment this is one of the best La Quinta hotel we’ve stayed so far. The staff is very friendly. Location within the town is excellent, clean surroundings areas and felt very safe. The only downside is that the swimming pool bleach level was super high which denotes a not so clean water. Other than that everything was great."

"It’s always one best places we enjoy staying on our way back from Ruidoso. We have a vacation home there. I called Monica asked her if she could help us get our room closer to the small utility trailer. I know she does an awesome job to accommodate us.every time. She a good person and worker. We always have a great experience with the employees.. I was raised in Roswell nice to visit and not have to stay there . "

"I was surprised at this hotel, it has everything I need. It has microwave which most of big hotels doesn't have. A fridge, iron/ironing board and hairdryer. It has hot breakfast too. I will recommend this if you're staying at Whitesands, NM"

"This is a Super 8, so it's not a luxury property. Our room was small and the lobby area--while functional and as pleasant as possible, was crammed into a teeny-tiny space, giving the illusion of everything being crowded and claustrophobic. But the price was great, our room was clean, the bed was wonderful, the staff was really wonderful and the surrounding area was quiet and felt safe. I think it's a great choice for travelers going through Alamogordo."
