"Las Arenas has quite a smart reception area that suggests it was once in a rather better state than it is now. The apartments are in definite need of updating - splits in the doors, and a poor shower screen that meant it was easy to virtually flood the bathroom. Not that my showers lasted long, as the water was only hot for a very short burst at a time.
The TV is supposedly set up for Netflix and YouTube, but the signal is constantly weak and I couldn’t access either. The pool area is locked,...

"A great location in the centre of Maspalomas and good value. Room is basic but very clean and modern. Spacious Bathroom. Plenty of storage space The pool area is especially nice. Will stay again.
Downsides are, a somewhat noisy setting due to busy traffic and adjacent to delivery parking. So bring earplugs (a good idea for central maspalomas everywhere). WiFi is dreadful, as is everywhere else on the Island, so prepare for data roaming in advance."
