"We had a wonderful stay. The hotel was very clean and comfortable. It is situated in the loveliest little village in the mountains. Immediately outside the hotel you have a bar and a restaurant. The food was amazing and the people ever so friendly. We wer so impressed and loved the whole area so much we are going back for Christmas "

"This little hotel is sublime, as quiet as a retreat, you can’t help but relax here. It’s all run by three Sisters who work extremely hard doing everything themselves by the look of it! Breakfasts are a treat and I recommend the bacon and eggs! Oh and the views are superb, especially as the sun sets and you hear the gentle sleepy noises from down the valley. "Set in a beautiful spot overlooking the lake. The village is about 2-3 miles away but don't take the car. The roads just get narrower and narrower and are extremely steep. The hotel has no lift but we were given a room on the ground floor as my husband has problems with stairs. The downside of this was that we were awoken by a table top sale being set up right outside our window by some very noisy Brits. I am surprised that the hotel allowed this immediately outside bedroom windows. Beware...

"Excellent choice for our stopover and great value for money. The owners were very welcoming and friendly when we had drinks in the bar. We were a bit worried it would be noisy from the road as we sleep with windows open but our room facing away from the road wasn't noisy at all. The breakfast was basic but tasty and we were also offered and had fried eggs. Great coffee. Hope to stop again when visiting this area."
