Nice swimming pool, staff friendly and very helpful. Kitchen very well equipped and functional. Location great- Very close to a beach, national park entrance and bus stop. Unfortunately there is a plumbing issue so there was often a nasty smell by the poolside and both toilets in our rooms didn’t flush properly.

A little bit of paradise conveniently close to the national park. The owner and her son were wonderful. Very welcoming and a great hosts. Excellent home cooked food and no need to go elsewhere. We felt very much at home

Amazing

Very unusual property, but if you go with a sense of adventure you'll love it!

Yes, pool was perfect and so was also kitchen

It was a clean room but had to prompt a refresh after a couple of days. Bed was placed in a corner meaning you had to shuffle out of bed if you slept on that side - no real issue. Too far from Puerto Viejo is that’s where you want to head (car is useful). The road to the hotel is bumpy and then a short steep ascent to the apartments. Overall a satisfied customer.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An Absolutely Wonderful Experience at Agapi! 🌴❤️ What an incredible experience staying at Agapi in Puerto Viejo, Costa Rica! I absolutely loved every moment of my stay and couldn’t have asked for a better place to enjoy the beautiful Caribbean coast. Agapi has such a lovely, peaceful and welcoming atmosphere. It was the perfect place to relax, explore the surrounding nature, enjoy the stunning beaches and experience the magical Caribbean lifestyle. As a solo female traveller who has...

We loved staying here and didn't want to leave: great relaxed atmosphere out of the slightly hectic Puerto viejo. Lovely little room, we had a room with shared bathrooms and those were great - super clean and comfortable. The outside area is unbeatable: a restaurant area under a palm tree rooftop that is built around a tree, and more seating and hammocks in the shade of palmtrees on the beach. To swim, check with staff or the lifeguard where it is safe (further up north of the beach, two...

The owner was great - friendly, helpful, entertaining. Villas are spacious, bathroom is in a great condition, pools have colourful lights at night, you are surrounded by the nature, there are several supermarkets and the beach within a walking distance of the property

Very nice room, with good bathroom. Just as the pictures. The ceiling fan was very bad, so it was sooo hot at night. Should get AC, or better fan. Also, very difficult to find the main road at night, had to use flashlight.

Great hotel room, spacious with a little outdoor balcony. It got noisy around 6am from the Kitchen, but otherwise a nice stay. Breakfast was lovely, onsite parking was easy, and we were able to check in late at night which was appreciated.
