"I don’t recommend this place at all! 3 star is for the River view. Had I known this is actually a youth hostel with some “comfort room” I wouldn’t have booked it at this price for my vacation. "The location of this hotel is good, and it was clean, staff very nice, but it's a pretty run down old hotel, and our room was really small and terribly hot, even with the window open, and the fan running 24 hours, it was still really hot. Bathroom is tiny. breakfast doesn't open until 9AM, which is quite late if you want to get up and go somewhere, so we had to get breakfast at a different place. "The hotel is a few hundred meters from Maastricht station. All the amenities are on your door step. The staff are very helpfull and courtious. I planted a tree in line with the hotels eco-friendliness. I will use again."

"Although close to city Centre (convenient) and train station, the room was dusty and dingy and did not deliver as advertised in the description (decor was dated and mismatched, tv didn’t work, floorboards unsafe). Communication was good with the managers but follow through did not happen (eg soap promised for bathroom but none delivered). "
