"What a cozy, homey cottage! Liz has done a wonderful job of updating it without losing any of the charm of its 200 year old history. Every little detail has been thoughtfully provided, and Liz herself couldn't have been more helpful and welcoming. The location is wonderful too--dinner at the nearby Edinbane Lodge was outstanding and the Edinbane Pottery is well worth checking out. I highly recommend this property."

"From the moment we approached the driveway I was taken aback. There’s a large pile of old tires at the bottom of the drive. The drive is several hundred feet long and very rutted and muddy. It badly needs to be regraveled, as does the parking area. The picture of the house on the listing is many years old, and it needs paint badly now. I know it’s a wet environment, but it’s not well maintained. Inside is not real clean. There’s a lot of mold, and a lot of basic repairs need to be done....
