"Dede was welcoming, the lighthouse room was spacious, bed was comfortable, and bathroom was large. The breakfast was unexpected (I didn’t recall reading that) and fantastic. The rooms are on the second floor so you do have to haul luggage up stairs. Also, Expedia had no mention of air conditioning so I called the facility, and they do indeed have AC! The only thing I would add are more outlets by the bed. I would definitely come back if I find myself in the area again."

"Room was large and clean. Sink did not drain (at least not quickly) and the shower had a drip problem. At check in we were not informed that there was coffee available in the office area in the morning. We went out to get it every morning which was fine, but being able to get it on property would have been more convenient."

"The Brown Family Farmhouse was a wonderful island experience. The historic home was super clean and nicely decorated. The country kitchen had everything you could need. Our family enjoyed walking and biking the dirt roads with the cows nearby. Swimming from the deep water dock was fun too. Easy access by boat to Clayton."

"Accommodations were perfect for our party of four adults and two children. Plenty of room and beautiful river views from great room and kitchen. Nicely updated kitchen with plenty of cookware, utensils, etc. Bedrooms had good cross ventilation and were comfortable at night with the fans provided. We really enjoyed the location with other family staying nearby on the same road within walking distance."
