Budget Motel- Stayed for one week,
The Budget Motel is slightly remote. It is about 10 minutes walk (no bags) from Buchs-Dallikon S-bahn station. Check-in was all automated and there were problems but Frau Wolter corrected this over an intercom. Otherwise, my stay was trouble free. The rooms were really nice, clean and practical. I congratulate the cleaning staff because the room had the cleanest bathroom that I have ever been in !

Adequate and affordable
Totally new concept in hotels: Simple, even stark, and self check-in with a computer at the door. But it worked. Hotels in Switzerland are obscenely expensive. This one is affordable (we paid about 125CF). It's in an office building, no as well insulated as a regular hotel room, against noise.Lots of parking around the building and the Wifi worked fine. Comfortable King bed (with useless EUropean pillow). Breakfast extra, supermarkets nearby for good food. In an industrial area, but safe. It was Swiss super-clean, industrial carpeting on the floor. Cable TV (only CNN in English-ouch). This hotel worked great for the night before going to Zurich. Note there is major construction in the area involving the highway and give yourself extra time to get to the airport. Our GPS did not include the temporarily cllosed roads and it was a major effort to get thru.

Oh what a night.
I could not get into the hotel the first night. It was a 20 min. Metro ride from the main station and then a 15 min. Walk to the hotel while pulling my luggage and carrying a shoulder bag. It is in an industrial section of town and unless you get very close you won't know it's a hotel in fact it is more than a hotel. Ther are other business's there in the same beg. With offices. Despite my having my voucher with me with a reservation no. I was unable to enter the bag. It was about 7pm. There are no staff after 12pm, you need a code which I never received. I had to return to the main train station as it provided some shelter where I remained until the next day. When I returned the following day and explained to the receptionist what happened, she seemed disinterested. The one bright spot was the washer and dryer but not free. Buffet was 10 Swiss francs and not special. Also the metro was 6francs 20 cents, one way. Find something closer. I wish I knew.

A pleasant stay
Good, new hotel, a bit out of the way you need a car to get there. Reception help line was helpful especially as we arrived late and could only get access to our room details if we submitted credit card details. We preferred to pay in cash, this was eventually accepted. Check any email correspondence carefully as they only accept credit cards.

I can't complain
nice hotel, dont expect to find a receptionist, but the automatic check in is enough. The hotel size is very compaq, the internet(wireless) is unstable, but the internet (wired) was awesome; bring your own access point. The location is a bit too far from Zurich centre, but train station is nearby, 15 minutes walk. I cant say anything negative about the hotel staff since i did not see anybody.

Good budget hotel
It was self serve hotel when we arrived (6 am to 12 pm only the reception available in front) but it easy to follow instruction on the front check-in machine. Breakfast was not worth the value we paid. the city centre is a bit far from the hotel but overall, the hotel was worth we paid for.

Good value - clean, comfortable
We arrived before noon after an early flight into Zurich, so we didn't need to use the machine to check in to get our room code. No problem with parking. They give you ear plugs but no issue with noise. Free tea and they give you a couple free packs of coffee for their machine in the lobby. Staff was friendly and helpful, but only there in the morning.

Very clean, large room, free parking and internet. Located into the industrial area of Dallikon, may be noisy during the day.

Unusual for me
Arrived 5pm , very unusual as it was not manned I had to put in my details outside into a screen. Did not see anyone until the next morning Very strange concept, but room although tiny And the bed very small was ok for a night

Good Motel
A nice motel located in the small town of Dallikon. Dallikon is a 20 minutes ride by train from Zurich. The motel is a 15 minutes walk from the train station. There are buses running but not often.

Nice enough for an overnight stay. Kiosk check-in was strange, but easy enough. Breakfast was good. Room was huge - it was a converted office space. Be prepared to share the building with actual companies. Only issue was the ridiculously thin walls. Could hear the couple next door crystal clear - and they had checked in around midnight. A little annoying and the hotel must know this is an issue because they provide ear plugs.

Good Value for Money
The hotel is one of the best for a business trip. The only problem is the location if you use public transport. Car drivers would find it perfect. It was clean, it had a large screen TV, free internet, and there was free tea or coffee in reception.

Reasonably priced but off the beaten track.
By Swiss standards, a reasonalbly priced motel. However, very far from Zurich center and airport in an industrialized tiny suburb. Taxi service requires a European enabled cell phone. Motel is approx. 30 min walk from RR station. Difficult to locate w/o GPS or an excellent map. Walls are thin so if you have bad luck your neighbors loud conversations may interfere with sleep even with the motel supplied ear plugs. Comp coffee (2 small cups) Comp fruit. Breakfast is costly. Front desk is only open during restiricted hours so must master the automated check in system which is do-able for most. Staff excellent.

Efficient motel far from Zurich center and airport
Far from Zurich airport and center in an industrial zone but reachable by train and a long walk or bus ride if youve no car or bike. Staff is kind and helpful to non-Europeans. Comp. coffee. Great comp. WiFi. Quiet. Must use automated check in on some weekends. Breakfast v. expensive.

Close to Train
It is close to trains (S6 line) to Zurich within easy walking. The station also has good size park and ride if you do not want to walk. The room and bathroom is large. Surrounded by warehouses and offices. Free parking was a definite help for me.

Very small room, no air condition, 15 minutes walk from train station and another 20 to the center. The neighborhood is an Industry zone. Not possible to leave bagage at the reception.

Great hotel for a good price
It is not easy to find an affordable hotel in excessively priced Switzerland. But this hotel fits the bill. Nothing fancy, but clean, organized and otherwise perfect for a good night sleep for a business traveler (probably not so much a choice for a romantic get-away). Breakfast buffet for a small additional fee was very good as well. I will be using this hotel again during future trips. BTW: the automatic entry system for late arrivals works very easy - not sure why some people have criticized this in their reviews. Only negative are the flimsy walls, so you may hear your neighbor's alarm go off in the morning.

Great budget-minded hotel near Zurich airport
If you are looking for an economical place to stay near Zurich airport, this is a great find. If you want luxurious surroundings, this is not the place to stay. The price was great, considering how astronomical prices are in the Zurich area. And I was surprisingly impressed with the nice condition of the hotel room, basic but very clean, neat, had everything one needs for a good night's sleep, plus coffee, water and basic soap and shampoo. The locale is in a commercial warehouse area, not touristy, but it is quiet and felt safe. There is a good Italian restaurant right down the street and a gas station. It was only 20-25 minutes drive to the airport, so we were totally satisified.

Great value for a solo traveller
I needed to find an affordable place to stay in Zurich for a night with a few days notice, and so took a chance on this place and booked a single room. Although it is a bit out of town, it was fairly straight forward to get to. 15 mins walk (along pavement by 2-way 2 lane road where speed limit is 60km/h, but there wasn't much traffic anyway) from the Buchs-Dällikon, in zone 11 (normal day pass covers only 10 and 21 I think?) The staff were friendly and helpful, and this was very nice to put me at ease. There is a 6 digit number that you must remember (or write down) to enter the room (instead of a key). The room was nice and clean, bed and pillow nice and soft. Yes, the walls were a bit thin, but not a problem for me on this particular night. Strong shower, the bathroom had shower gel, hand soap, toilet paper and a clean set of towels (small things are important when travelling on a budget). Was nice to have a bottle of fizzy water, a biscuit and 2 coffee packets. There was wired Internet connection (in room) - this was fast and was able to use Skype. TV (in room) had many channels, mostly Swiss, German, Italian and French stations, and on this partcularly night of international football, all the above's national teams were live. I had a very nice sleep. Breakfast was nice and healthy - there was a nice selection of breads, ham, cereals, yogurts, juice and coffee. There was no cooker, so no fried meats, vegs or eggs, etc. There's no much around, but there is a petrol station 2 mins away, and I passed a stall 5 mins away selling Asian food. Overall, I was very happy to have chosen this place given the great value, and other places in more centrla Zurich would have cost me three/four times as much.

Budget Motel
Its a bit out of the town but the trainstation is 15minutes by foot and you can ctch the S Bahn direct into Zuri Hauptbahnhof. On fri/sat nights there is no night train so you have to catch the N45 bus from Central (1, 2, 3 &4 am)and hop off at the trainstaion or Industriestrasse so its still not too bad room is tidy, good shower but bed is quite small. Good parking but no other services nearby - its in an Industrial area. But its cheap (for Zurich) and the train/ bus is CHF 7- each way Be aware it is not a true "Motel" in the nz/australian sence - there is no kitchen!!!

Good value for money
I found the staff very friendly and the room was fine. I had the single for 4 days and had to do some work from there, and found it surprisingly comfortable and easy to spend time in. The hotel is in an industrial area but is quite a clean area. It is a bit of a hike to the station (about a 10 min walk) but there is a train every half hour (06 and 36) to Zurich main station and only took about 15 mins to get there. I thought it was very good value for money.

Perfekt für den Business-Trip
Preisgünstiges Hotel im Industriegebiet von Dällikon, nicht weit von Regensdorf und Zürich. Leckeres Frühstück. Zimmer sauber und zweckmäßig, leider etwas hellhörig. Einen Keks und eine Flasche Wasser gibt's als Goody kostenlos. Für Kaffee außerhalb des Frühstücks und den Snackautomaten empfehlen sich Münzen. Die Gemeinschaftsküche eignet sich, um selbst zu kochen oder etwas vom Lieferdienst zu verzehren. Genügend Möglichkeiten in der Umgebung sind vorhanden. Kostenlose Parkplätze auf dem Gelände.

eine schöne Überraschung :-)
ich war SEHR positiv überrascht, weil ich bei dem günstigen Preis nicht viel erwartet habe. Aber - alles sehr sauber und gepflegt, ordentliche Ausstattung, kostenlose Flasche Wasser, Frühstück ebenfalls in Ordnung, check-in hat problemlos funktioniert, die Rechnung per Mail auch innerhalb weniger Minuten - Dankesehr! komme sicherlich wieder. :-)

Ideal für Kurzaufenthalt!
Zweckmässig eingerichtete Zimmer mit eigenem Badezimmer, modern, sauber! Das einchecken am Automaten ist etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig, aber eigentlich einfach! Gerne wieder wenn in der Nähe ein Anlass oder ein Fest ist!
