“Worked very well for the location we needed.”

Staff was particularly accommodating finding a good restaurant for us and calling to make arrangements for a fairly large group. We had five rooms choosing the locatiion because it was near a particular location that we all needed to be at early in the morning.

“Great Hotel for reasonable price”

This Hotel was all that i read about it. It was very clean, comfortable and reasonably priced. We were looking for a place close to the city a couple days before heading in for the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, Only 30 min from time sq and you can't beat the ammenities here. I stayed at the Marriot Marquis after this place and i got more in room samples,(shampoo, mouthwash, lotion, etc) and a HOT breakfast (not that it was to die for but not bad) here at Hampton Inn and got Not even close to that at the Marriot and paid BIG money just for the location. Marriot was nice but NOT worth the money. All you got that was better was the location, (right in Time Sq) so if thats not a priority, Hampton Inn is the way to go...Not to mention we saw a Hampton Inn in the city as well, don't know what they charge but will definitly look into it next time.

“"Nice rooms"”

Very nice stay. Short distance to train station for ride to Grand Central Station, but want to go early and get back to Yonkers station before dark. Staying here makes in afforable to enjoy New York City, without the expense of high priced hotels that you would pay in the city. I would return to this hotel. Staff very nice.

“Best place to stay in Yonkers area”

The staff are helpful and friendly. The breakfast had a daily variety and was well stocked. The rooms were large and comfortable and most importantly quiet. The evening happy hour was in a well designed atmostphere with a happy knowledgable bartender. I would definately come back when I have to go to Yonkers again.

“Good base for leaving NY”

We arrived at JFK in the afternoon en route to New England. Rather than drive straight to Massachusetts while tired, we opted for a night closer to the city. We got to Yonkers in half an hour and had a comfortable night before undertaking the longer journey in the morning. Reception was impeccable, the king room clean and spacious. Breakfast was welcome, albeit with paper plates and plastic cutlery

“Excellent hotel”

This hotel was immaculate. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The breakfast was substantial. The staff was very nice and very helpful. I would highly recommend!!

“Very nice hotel.”

Room was very nice. Pillows were a bit soft for my taste but that's just preference. Rooms had full optimum cable lineup including HBO, not just 20 channels or so. Made the stay much more comfortable. Free continental breakfast was large with lots of choices. Lobby was impressive as well. Outdoor patio was a nice bonus for sitting and eating breakfast in the morning. Definitely a great place to stay.

“Convenient and Clean would stay here again”

The hotel is conveniently located near the highway which makes getting there easier especially when traveling from New England or if you want to go into the city. The price is much cheaper then you would pay in Manhattan and only a short train/car ride away. The rooms are decently sized and the entire facility is very clean. The complimentary breakfast was great for what it is (free breakfast not gourmet). Overall it was definitely worth the value and very convenient for taking the train into Manhattan for the day and night, I'd definitely consider staying there again.

“"Yes to Yonkers"”

Very nice hotel. If I have to go to the Yonkers/Mt. Vernon, NY area again, I will definitely stay at this hotel. Easier to find by day than by night. Particularly impressed with the fact that once I closed my room door - I could not hear any noise from the hall or other rooms. The hotel was perfect for my need and evidently others as it might have been close to sold out the night I was there. To the Hampton Suites - if you have any clout with the Yonkers city government, suggest they get bigger street signs. You can't see them in the dark. It will make your hotel easier to find at night.
