A lot to improve
Good day, the air condition was unfortunately horrible. We couldn’t control the air flow which was very strong and therefore loud. Further, 2 min after 10pm - last order is 10pm, cafe closes at 11pm - we got told that the cafe is closed and we can’t get anything anymore. 3rd, on the room the breakfast is advertised with 1000 Yen/person but when we went for breakfast we got charged 1200 per person. The hotel looks lovely, but everything else doesn’t leave you with a “lovely feeling”, at all!

Regarding breakfast, if you order by the day before, it will be 1000 yen per person, and the order on the day will be 1200 yen. Please understand. Comfy and vibrant!
Wonderful stay! The room was very tidy and clean. The vibe of the hotel was great, from the lounge, bar and restaurant from the ground floor to the paintings on the wall. Made me feel like I was at a resort.

New and clean hotel with friendly staff. The kitchen on 4th floor was small but helpful in preparing and reheating food from mearby comvenient stores (3 convenient str ores in total)

Yokohama with a difference
The room was tiny but had everything we needed. The fittings were excellent and the room was designed to make the most of the space. The service was excellent. Breakfast was more than we expected, and free, Wi-Fi was excellent quality. The hotel was secure. The hotel was right in the centre of things: local market, transport (train and bus) and shops around the corner. A very good place to meet the locals although English was limited outside of the hotel

Nice staff, great value.
I stayed at the hotel for 2 weeks and overall it was very good. The room is typical very small Japanese style, but you have everything you need, and a few nice extras. I love the location a couple blocks from the train station, and you can't count the number of places to eat or shop within just a few blocks also. The down side is that it is in the middle of things and so it gets a bit noisy if you have your window open. Great staff, and overall a great value. Will stay again.

Great funky hotel right next to the train station.
We very much enjoyed our time in Fujisawa exploring Kamakura and Enoshima where, much to our delight, we even got a view of the ever illusive Mt Fuji.

Good for the price
The hotel is close to the train station and family mart. The room is spacious and somewhat clean (there was 1-2 hair on the wall next to the bathtub). They have all common amenities and free wifi. I stayed on the 7th floor during New Year and it was quiet at night. I'd recommend this place if you plan to visit Kamakura/Enoshima region.

This is the 2nd time we have stayed at this hotel in 3 years and it. Would have been nice to have had a bigger room his time but because Expedia was not offering a bigger room on its site I thought I would ask on arrival but unfortunately the price was doubled up completely and out of our price range I saw in hotel.com a bigger room was offered and next year we will probably book through them because a bigger room is not being off rd on you site

I stay 1 night at the 8hotel. It's stylish and cool. Room is comfy. Walking distance to train station. The only bad thing is check out time 10am is too early.

Good budget hotel, trendy
Good budget hotel, perhaps aimed at youths. We had an enjoyable one night stay at this hotel. There is a small cafe in the lobby area, very convenient. The room was good, fantastic view and the facilities met our needs. Staff were very friendly. The whole hotel is modern and I would recommend staying here. Very positive experience

Modern, funky hotel near train stations
We stayed in Fujisawa because Kamakura hotels were busy and we're glad we did. 8hotel is a fun hotel a couple of blocks from the JR and Enoden train stations with a great department store and lots of little local restaurants right there. The breakfasts in the bar on the ground floor were delicious, the staff are friendly and helpful and the room had everything we needed. We wouldn't hesitate to go back.

It's too far from the Tokyo International Airport. There is no "early check in" available for customers who arrived earlier then 3:00pm. The front desk staff members do not speak much English.

Cheap hotel around Fujisawa station for short stay
We've stayed here many times, it had been average, but this time it is quite disappointing. The A/C as always is hard to get it to the right temperature and fan speed, it is constantly blowing on your head no matter how we adjust the setting or the fan wing. The fan wing is not wide enough to cover the A/C fan outlet. When we walked in to check in, the front desk guy didn't bother to greet us, didn't smile, just said "passport". I said I don't have passport, I live here. Then he asks for alien registration card, then I said I don't bring that around. Then, my husband asked if he was looking for an ID, then he said yes and didn't even look at me. I felt that was quite rude. p.s. the cafe downstairs were under construction, so we couldn't have breakfast there. This hotel also does not validate any parking facility around the hotel.

Great little hotel
Great little modern boutique hotel just off downtown Fujisawa. Walking distance to JR and Enoden trains. Very friendly staff, clean rooms. Small rooms, but comfortable enough to get the jobs of bathing and sleeping done. Modern appliances, modern bathroom. Free Wi-Fi. We had a small fridge for snacks and drinks. No microwave in the room, but they have a kitchen for guests to use. While we were there, they were building a cafe/bar that looked like it would be a fun place to have drinks once it opens, which was happening 7/23/16. Got a good discount on Expedia. I would stay there again. I don't mind the tiny room.

Hotel room tiny as expected. There was an odour(not tabacco bcos its a smoking room n we got it) in the room but we can tolerate. The fact that the air cond was dirty n blows out lots of dust made us sneezed everytime we turned it on. And it blew right on your face while sleeping causing headache the next morning. Couldnt sleep as bed n pillow not comfy. I would recommend booking a bigger room for >1 night. Staff is very very helpful and smart. Easy English is ok. We stayed in room 507.

basic hotel close to train station
spacious room with plenty of desk and bathroom counter space. the hotel and room were clean, quiet, and welcoming. stayed there with my family and would recommend to others. only needed a place to sleep and rest as we were out and about otherwise, and this hotel fit the bill.

Staff was fine, busy. Breakfast was great.
Good location, near train station. Quiet on the 7th floor. I knew the room was "very small", but you can't really imagine what it will be like with no place to open luggage, except the bed, and little space to put anything and no room to walk by each other. If the bed was a double (American), I would be surprised. Had to step up to the modular bathroom. Would be difficult for some people. Shower was good. As active senior travelers, it was OK for us for 2 nights to see Kamakura, but really it's a room for one person.

Great decor, fabulous food!
The 8 Hotel is perfect for young couples, friends traveling together, or single travelers looking for a unique and affordable place to eat and stay. The American theme isn't 100% authentic, but the room decor and atmosphere is fun and funky and everything's clean and relatively convenient. The attached restaurant serves fabulous home-cooked hamburgers in the evening and a gourmet breakfast (with good coffee) in the morning. Close to the Fujisawa train station, and easy to find, I'd stay here again in a heartbeat!

Nice style close to station and convenience store
The hotel has a nice design. The personnel is welcoming. The room was small but enough (2 person in one semi double bed). Toilet had everything we needed and pajamas were also provided. There is a mini fridge and kettle. The place is near the station (just a few steps from it, go into the street between the Yokohama bank and OPA) it is also near some restaurants and convenience store. Great place! The only negative part would be the toothbrush was maybe too hard and the curtains had some stains (but these are minor things I don't really care)

Grand Bach was amazing!! Location is top notch. Right on the high street-which is world-class modern, clean and beautiful. Concierge was amazing, totally professional and made perfect suggestions for our short stay. Room clean and comfortable and has movies, CNN. Staff very helpful and due to our very special occasion-took very good care of us !! Surprises also-like complimentary Japanese supper. Also has public baths. We'd recommend to anyone and can't wait to return.

•Cleanliness of room/hotel = Very clean. Excellent price. •Quality of service = My interaction with the front desk staff was excellent. Same in the Café. I understand Japanese therefore my interactions were easier than none Japanese speakers. •Hotel amenities - Cleaning staff was very active. They cared about their job, were professional and did a super job. Consistent with many Japanese business hotels, the rooms were tight by Western standards but just right for me. The bed was a little stiff for my liking but OK. The AC worked when needed. •Hotel location - Perfect!!! Next to train JR station. You can connect with the bullet train in Yokohama. Besides the hotel's café there were two convenience stores nearby, a bank, and numerous food establishments.

Perfect day away from Tokyo
Great little hotel. Location was perfect for day away from Tokyo. The endo train journey from Kamakura to Fugisawa was worth it by its self. Took 30mins. each stop along the way had something amazing to offer.
