"This was an absolute gem. I was looking for a romantic overnight stay in Weymouth but wanted character, charm and good design, as well as the ability to walk out the door and go open water swimming in the sea. Steve was a great host, and our room was quite gorgeous. His breakfasts are just the best - and he’s got a proper coffee machine - we had seconds of our flat whites and cappuccinos. We’re definitely returning…."

"Room was very clean and tidy. More than enough space for the two of us. Tea and coffee making machine in the room, as well as a mini fridge, which was unexpected, but very welcome. A variety of breakfast items are available as well as an option for full english. Hosts Richard and Karen were very friendly and welcoming. Would definitely stay here again, and would thouroughly recommend staying at The Clarence."

"Just a perfect weekend. Weather was fabulous considering its rained constantly for what feels like forever. Weymouth is a really lovely place and the Beach House was just lovely. "Very nice place to visit, warm and stylish with wonderful food and service. Place where you can relax and enjoy a peaceful countryside life. Cottage room are very nice with own fire plce and comfy bed but smells old and damp would be nice to have some better ventilation there. Same as swimming pool and jacuzzi nice pool but very shallow, once you in jacuzzi is hard to breathe due to chlorine and bad ventilation. Pet friendly but if you with a pet you have only option to stay in the cottage...

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, Penny our host could not do enough for us. It was bed and breakfast and ‘WOW’ what a breakfast, so much choice and very filling. The hotel was very clean and comfortable, your room was cleaned as soon as you left. Nothing was to much trouble for Penny and she always had a smile on her face. Just for your information, anyone thinking of booking, you have to negotiate stairs, to get to all but one of the bedrooms."
