Nice hotel, would chose a different location.

Was a nice hotel, spa wasnt working :( would have chose a different location. Not close to any malls or nice dining areas Or shopping centers. Had to drive 15 minutes every time for supper or shopping. Nice staff. Room was clean. As well as the motel

Modern, hip, Super 8!

Posted 13-Feb-2015
Pros: Great mattress, thick enough walls, highway exit location, Budget friendly rates! Nice bathroom tile, very clean.
Cons: Not so great coffee!
Location: I only overnight stayed, was right off major highways, but no road noise from room.
Budget hotel fears? If you have memories of old orange and avocado Super8 motel rooms, you'll be nicely surprised by the decor here. Hip and fresh, great reading lights, a nice desk chair, great TV, but most importantly a very comfy bed. No holes or lumps! Can't rate pillows, I bring my own. Staff was friendly, welcome. Dogs are welcome, average grassy area. Trashy, but, hey, it's winter! Maybe better in warmer temps. Overall, I'll stay here again, can't beat it for the money.

Passing through from North Dakota to Texas

Posted 14-Jan-2015
Cons: Cleanliness
Stayed two nights. Thursday and a Saturday. Thursday night was really good. Saturday night was not as good. Room needed a good cleaning. There was dust/lint /cob webs hanging from the ceiling. It was once a smoking room and converted to a non-smoking room but still stunk. One of the beds had cigarette burns on the blankets and the other bed had tear in the sheets. Hot tub was not working which was a big disappointment after driving all day

Disappointed the pool was closed. The pool was why we choose this hotel.

Repeat Visitor

Posted 05-Jan-2015
Pros: Location is right off of I-35, easy access. It is clean and quiet and allows small pets.
Cons: The hot tub was out of order on our visit - something we look forward to as we drive a LONG way on this trip and htis is the halfway point.
Location: 2 minutes off of I-35, very easy access
This hotel is at a good halfway point for a cross country trip that I take about once a year. I have stayed here several times and would again. It's clean and very decent for the price.

Off the beaten path.

Pros: Newer, clean and comfortable if you can get past all the poor construction issues.
Cons: See above.
Location: Not much to do around this proximity.
Breakfast was poor and coffee was empty an hour before the breakfast was over and never refilled. The room was comfortable and clean. The workmanship that went into this room when it was constructed was horrible. There was over spayed paint, drywall texture and drywall mud blasted over the fire alarm and many other things attached to the walls and ceilings. There was also a wall near the bed where drywall texture was so severely blasted that it had ran down the wall in numerous large runs. It was never scraped off just painted right over. The holes cut for the can lights, the sprinklers and even the tub/shower water control were cut too big. On top of that the tub spout, the shower head and the water control were placed near the outside edge of the tub an obvious mistake. I can't believe anyone would have done this intentionally and besides the tub spout constantly leaked whenever the water was on and ended up a large pool on the floor. There were robe hooks that were merely screwed to the wall with screws (no anchors) and there were several holes where they had been previously mounted that were empty. Next time either pay your contractors enough that they care a little more about doing their work in a "workmanship like manner" or at least hold them to the contract and make them make it right before they are paid because this was just plain very poor workmanship period.

Hotel OK - Poor Service

No problem with hotel, room, pool, etc, however the Service was poor. I felt like the staff did not care about me or other guests.

Nice place to stay.

Posted 29-Aug-2014
Pros: Easy to get to. Very quiet and clean. I liked having the small refrigerator and microwave in the room.
Cons: Two lamps in the room that were not working. The shower curtain was too short so a lot water got on the bathroom floor. More choices for breakfast.
Location: I was staying there while visiting family so didn't take advantage of any other entertainment.
The room was clean and comfortable and it was also nice and quiet. The staff was very pleasant. Had a couple of inconveniences...two of the lamps were not working and all of the vending machines were out of order. The pillows were small and hard so it would be nice if they were replaced with softer, larger pillows. The breakfast area was nice and clean, but I would have liked to see more food choices. But it was a nice room for the price and I would definately stay there again.
