To much money for to little

Posted 19-Jun-2015
When I booked this hotel the pictures we saw of a fitness room and a whirl pool . When we arrived at the hotel, they had filled the whirl pool with concrete . I asked to see the fitness center, they said they didn't have one anymore. $75.00 a night . I didn't get my money's worth.

Room smells and dirty

Posted 01-Jun-2015
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Everything
Hallway smell's like smoke even in the non-smoking sections. Room had a very strong cat pee smell. Carpet was not vacuumed. Light bulb in the bathroom was burnt out. Pizza on the floor in the lobby from a family that had pizza the night before. advertise's breakfast, but very limited to rolls and biscuits. Pool so small only about 5 kids can fit in it. Will not stay there again.

Nice overnight stay in Wichita.

Posted 16-Apr-2015
Pros: Close drive to several places to eat or shop.
Cons: I'm 6 ft tall, had to bend over to take shower. Probably not fixable, but why not suggest.
Location: BBQ restaurant that was just west a few blocks had incredible food. Highly recommend.
Bed/pillows were very comfortable. Staff was nice and helpful. Close to some good places to eat (BBQ place was awesome). Didn't use the indoor pool, it looked very small. Room was clean. Why do showers have to be so short in most cheaper hotels?

Everybody was friendly

It wasn't bad except our 2nd night there was a man going around trying to get in all the rooms. Asked housekeeping to just give us towels and coffee and they didn't even come in the room and they didn't speak or understand English.

Pros: Location
Cons: Water pressure and the waters pout in the tub needs to be tightened and/or fixed.
Location: Nice restaurants
The room was ok, the only thing bad about it was the water pressure in the shower. The water pressure was so low that there was no water coming out of the shower head. After calling the front desk, we were told that they would look into it and would call us back, but we ended up calling the front desk again because we lost all hot water. After about waiting for about 20-30 minutes the hot water was restored, and although the water pressure came back, it was still low but better than before.

Kinda gypped

Sometime after I booked my room using Hotels.com the hot tub at this hotel broke down and I was not able to get an adjustment for that since I had only booked that hotel for the use of its hot tub.

Was a nice hotel, spa wasnt working :( would have chose a different location. Not close to any malls or nice dining areas Or shopping centers. Had to drive 15 minutes every time for supper or shopping. Nice staff. Room was clean. As well as the motel

Modern, hip, Super 8!

Posted 13-Feb-2015
Pros: Great mattress, thick enough walls, highway exit location, Budget friendly rates! Nice bathroom tile, very clean.
Cons: Not so great coffee!
Location: I only overnight stayed, was right off major highways, but no road noise from room.
Budget hotel fears? If you have memories of old orange and avocado Super8 motel rooms, you'll be nicely surprised by the decor here. Hip and fresh, great reading lights, a nice desk chair, great TV, but most importantly a very comfy bed. No holes or lumps! Can't rate pillows, I bring my own. Staff was friendly, welcome. Dogs are welcome, average grassy area. Trashy, but, hey, it's winter! Maybe better in warmer temps. Overall, I'll stay here again, can't beat it for the money.

Cons: Cleanliness
Stayed two nights. Thursday and a Saturday. Thursday night was really good. Saturday night was not as good. Room needed a good cleaning. There was dust/lint /cob webs hanging from the ceiling. It was once a smoking room and converted to a non-smoking room but still stunk. One of the beds had cigarette burns on the blankets and the other bed had tear in the sheets. Hot tub was not working which was a big disappointment after driving all day
