Set in the enchanting village of Robin Hood’s Bay, where characterful cottages spill down the cliff top to the water’s edge. A network of cobbled footpaths and hidden snickets interconnect them all, it is almost like stepping back into the past. This historic little cottage will surely have some stories to tell, it is an authentic fisherman’s cottage right in the heart of Robin Hood’s Bay, with quaint shops, cafés, pubs and even a vintage sweet shop all within easy reach, as well as the beach at the bottom of the clifftop with rockpools and fossils to discover.

There are exposed wooden beams evoking the property’s past. Many of these beams will have been sourced from old fishing boats and the cottage itself is built from the traditional local honey coloured sandstone. On the lower ground floor, you have the snug living room with a raised dining area, which will provide you with the warmest welcome after a bracing walk along the coast in the winter months. Take a moment to take in the views from the very top floor to look at the glorious scenery throughout the changing seasons.

As well as having a wonderful beach Robin Hood’s Bay is also a walker’s paradise with the Wainwrights Coast to Coast walk starting or finishing in the village, as well as The Cleveland Way connecting you to other coastal villages and towns. Take a stroll along the cobbled alleyways and narrow streets or enjoy an exhilarating walk on the cliff-top Cleveland Way before heading out into the rugged North York Moors National Park. The National Cycle Network passes nearby and due to the popularity of the Tour de Yorkshire, the area is becoming more and more popular with road and mountain bike enthusiasts. For dogs this is paradise, the beach is dog friendly all year round and most cafes and bars will welcome your furry friend. Beach 176 yards.
