“good hotel, reasonably located, friendly staff”
good hotel, would recommend, no major problems
“Reasonable mid range hotel”
A reasonable hotel where the staff are very helpful. A plentiful but limited range for a cooked breakfast. Room was very clean and comfortable. On the downside parking was difficult as the hotel and hence car park was full. Think we were just unlucky when the air conditioning unit started to leak water! Would readily go back.
“Weekend Break”
Excellent service and very comfortable accommodation. Within easy reach of the town centre - 15 minute walk - perhaps not for the infirm. Exactly what we were promised. Very happy with this hotel. Do not understand the present rating.
“Unimpressed.”
Although the staff are friendly and helpful, the hotel itself needs a serious facelift and the decor was very 80's-ish. The room was tight. The carpets are dirty and heavily stained. The breakfast never changes - although it should. And the beds could have been larger - at least two doubles instead of twin-sized. But then, that just might be a typical room for England - certainly not in the States. It was about on the same level with Motel 6 however much more expensive.
“Night staff made it worth a while”
Initially I thought the hotel was out of town but later realised it was just 15 mins walk to the train station. Hotel is quite basic, somewhat clean but with excellent, joyfull and extremely helpful chap on the night shift and the lady that handed over to him - they made it all worth it.
“Good cheap option”
Friendly and helpful staff. Only a short taxi ride in to town. Clean rooms. Breakfast OK but not great.
“It is worth it”
Everything was excellent except the breakfast. The staff were all cooperative and well trained. If you are visiting Leeds, consider this hotel.
