Beautiful space. No TV or internet , but that was okay! We did find a few large black ants and mouse poop on a bed pillow. But hey, we are so close to nature. Would definitely stay if in the are again. ✌Pam

This cottage is simply incredible. The home itself is so nice and well appointed inside, and the property it sits on is amazing. Beautiful scenery, wildlife, the most gorgeous sunset, couldn’t ask for much more. We walked in and immediately said we will be coming back for more relaxation. So glad we found this property :)

Girls' Trip
The house was wonderful!! Very clean and relaxing. It was a fantastic place to unwind after hiking all day. The deck was the perfect place to do a bit of yoga or read a book. I hope to stay again in the future.

Nice Country Weekend
The property was outstanding. Sitting on deck we saw lots of wildlife. Highly recommend this property for a nice getaway. My only negative is not having a contact number for the owner in case something happened . We did have email but responses were slow. We would definitely come back.

2nd Time
2nd time in a year we've stayed here. Wonderfully clean and bright and quiet, which was what we were looking for. Though it was not a fault of the property, next time we will choose a time of the year when walnuts weren't falling off the trees overnight, onto the metal roof, and then rolling off. A little disconcerting until we figured out what the noise was. A gem of a property. We'll be back.

Our stay was relaxing and the setting was pristine! Kudos to the owner/property manager for delivering a first-class experience for travelers to the area! We went to Serpent Mound, Miller’s complex, Adams Lake State Park, Blake’s Pharmacy and Meranda-Nixon Winery. Our favorite was sitting on the deck, rain and shine!

We enjoyed our stay here. The property is beautiful and the house really is a work of art. It is very well designed, finely crafted and situated on a peaceful and private piece of land. I would recommend bringing your groceries and plan on cooking for the most part as there aren’t a lot of options for dining out that are within a short driving distance. The owner was very responsive to a request regarding the trash bin in the drive being full - he had someone come and empty it out within a few hours. There were lots of comfy towels, the sheets/bedding were nice/clean and the house was like new/spotless. The outside spaces were also very nice and include some walking paths. The building overlooks a large, beautiful wildflower field complete with butterflies, a variety of interesting birds and an occasional visiting fawn. This place is a real gem! Overall, this is a very nice place to get away from the hustle and bustle.

Complete seclusion

Peace and Seclusion
This is a lovely, clean, private cabin in a quiet nature setting. You enter to that still-new wood smell and are immediately taken in by the many windows looking into the surrounding trees and meadows. If the weather had been better, we would have enjoyed the outdoor spaces, but as it was we read by the wood stove. If you're coming in wet or snowy weather, be advised that the final part of the drive is on an unpaved road and even before that it's a little bumpy. We hope to be back.

Relaxing Winter Getaway
This was our second stay at clean, modern Crosset Cottage, and my husband and I enjoyed it as much as we did the first time. A long walk every day (the magazine describing local hikes was appreciated) followed by laziness. Crosset Cottage is the perfect place to unwind, relax, and renew.

Wonderful respite
A definitely tranquil and quiet location. Lots of windows, yet feels very private. The cabin is well maintained and clean. We were quite happy to be away from urban areas, although we did drive in to Cincinnati one of our days. The big city was close enough to get to visit and far enough away to deter us from going more than once.

Totally enjoyed our 4 day stay at this property. We probably brought too much stuff with us, as we were surprised how much was provided already. If you want to get away from EVERYTHING this is the place to visit. Local food is good, but we dropped down to Maysville KY for dinner the 2nd and 3rd nights at Caproni's on the River (45 min)

Great location for complete seclusion! Perfect for a honeymoon weekend. The home is gorgeous inside and out and is truly a work of art. The light from outside coming into the space moves and enhances the design. Take everything you will need so you don’t have to leave! We didn’t leave the entire weekend! We will definitely be back.

What a wonderful weekend trip! We loved the property (absolutely spotless) and on such beautiful land! We saw lots of wildlife and loved the big window with the bench at night to look out into the fields. Millers was amazing and their baked goods were the best we ever had! My boyfriend proposed to me there, so it holds a very special place in our hearts. We will be back 😊

Loved this place! Calm and serene setting, totally private. Can't think of one detail that was lacking. About 30min to Serpent Mound which we really enjoyed, even in the rain! The other reviews are correct: definitely get some Miller's Bakery doughnuts, they were spectacular.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The house is new and looks nice. The towels and dishes are surprisingly nice for a rental home. The surrounding area is pretty and quiet. We brought our 1-year old daughter with us and she loved walking around on the deck and looking at all the nature. We enjoyed it so much that we definitely want to consider coming back to stay at this house in the future!

We had a wonderful weekend at Crosset Cottage. Appreciated the design, all the light that gets in the cabin and connection with nature. We also truly enjoyed the serenity around, and the hiking opportunities in this region, including Edge of the Appalachia preserve and Shawnee state park. Would gladly stay again!
