“Great for what it was!”

It ain't the Taj Mahal, but the lovely Indian family who runs this hotel do their best to make it pleasant. The price was reasonable, the rooms mostly clean, it's swimming in free wifi, and it's just one block away from a 24 hour mini mart with a RedBox kiosk. I did get the sense, though, that the hotel had seen better days, which made me a little sad. A large sign on the side of the building had its former name on it, and the free continental breakfast was served in a room that was apparently once the dining room for a full service breakfast joint. Ah well... Perhaps the new manager will channel some Mughal roots he may possess and turn this little hotel into a magnificent monument to his wife. And when he does, I will return.

“Newly renovated”

This hotel is under new management and they are putting a lot of updates. Rooms are very clean and good size. Has comcast cable and wi-fi Internet service that was fast. We were in town for a wedding and three different families stayed in three different rooms and no complaints from any of us. Very good place to stay especially for the price.

“So-So Hotel”

This hotel was not as good as we had hoped. Continental breakfast was cereal and juice. Booked 2 non-smoking rooms, the one room was a smoking room even though they tried to convince us it was not smoked in. Housekeeping was trying to hurry us out of our room - we were outside at 8:30am and the lady was asking if we were done with the room because they wanted to get it cleaned, we said no (checkout wasn't until 11am at the latest), said we'd be a while yet, they just hung around outside watching for people to leave their rooms and asking if they were done there yet because they wanted to get them done. Upon checkin, the person checking us in said maybe 5 words, no greeting or anything. Rooms were so-so. Property currently up for sheriff's sale, so I'm sure that did not help at all. Wonderful little town, but awful hotel.
