"Property itself is a 10/10 - plenty of things to do, plenty of space, great location and it’s in a very quiet/secluded part of the bay. Walker is also a great town with everything you need for a great vacation.The owner seems to prefer this is only rented out to families, even though I don’t think they can say this via VRBO policy, so if you’re a family looking for a nice cabin weekend then I would highly recommend this property. If you’re just a group of adults then I would be hesitant about staying here. Either way, I would keep all messages within the VRBO messaging platform.For the owner: I would put the cleaning fee towards hiring professional cleaners to clean the property immediately after guests checkout (or within 24 hours, at the very least). This is standard practice for vacation rentals, especially of this size, and they can make sure everything is clean and returned to its intended place after guests checkout."

"I’ve stayed here before several times. It never disappoints! My new husband, of one year, was his first stay here. We both loved the take and enjoy in between meal offers!!! All guests were very impressed with that!! Beautiful outside florals welcoming you in!"

"The home is an older cabin that has grown over the years that gives a very cozy, quaint feel. There are things that could be updated as mentioned in other reviews but overall a nice place to stay. There are a couple of items that are misleading in the description of the home. The twins beds are set up like a trundle bed in a small room with the queen bed which did not work for our group. The rest of the house overall was great! It has a big kitchen and dining space along with two nice bathrooms for many people to stay.The dock is a little old but big and allowed us to keep both our boats tied up in the water. The only thing I didn't notice in the photos was how steep the stairs to get to the dock were. It was ok for us but not always ideal for others. The yard was big and has the best views of the lake and all the beautiful sunsets to make a person never want to leave. If you love wildlife and enjoy watching them this is the home for you. There is an abundance of birds, ducks, squirrels and deer to keep you entertained. This home was overall a great place to stay and enjoy a fishing trip to a beautiful area with the entire family."
