“rundum empfehlenswert”

Ich reise oft nach Wien und konnte schon die verschiedenartigsten Unterkünfte kennenlernen. Das Shermin ist eine äußerst positive Überraschung. Im 4. Bezirk gelegen, ist man zu Fuß in weniger als 5 Minuten am Karlsplatz, in 10 Minuten an der Staatsoper und 15 Minuten am Stephansplatz. Im ersten Stock eines Altbaus (kein Lift !) gelegen, mit einigermaßen geräumigen Zimmern, ist alles sehr sauber und vermittelt das Gefühl, daß man hier ohne viel (teuren) Schnickschnack sich ständig Gedanken macht, wie man dem Gast den Aufenthalt angenehm gestalten kann. Das Empfangspersonal besteht anscheinend zum größten Teil aus Studenten und ist durchweg sehr charmant und freundlich. Das Frühstück ist ok. WLAN ist kostenfrei und funktioniert gut (weiß Gott in Wien keine Selbstverständlichkeit). Die Rezeption ist nicht durchgehend besetzt, alles ist aber so organisiert, daß es keinerlei Schwierigkeiten bei der Anreise gibt. Die Preise sind günstig, um die Hälfte dessen, was für gewisse Absteigen im ersten Bezirk ausgegeben werden muß.
