The hotel is ideally located for enjoying the Innere Stadt (historic) part of Vienna. The rooms are very comfortable and the breakfast quite good.

The hotel was conveniently located and was easy and quick to walk to a lot of the main sites. The room was spacious and clean. What made this hotel for us was the front desk staff who were so helpful and went above and beyond to help us. Really great customer service.

Lovely hotel. Near to the centre. Friendly staff and was able to leave bags before our airport transfer. Shower was lovely and powerful and bed was comfy. Room was modern and clean.Only slight criticism was that the pillows weren’t comfy.

Staff was great, especially the young woman that checked us in and worked the evening shift. We were "upgraded" to a room since we signed up for your frequent stays. However the room overlooked the bar row and since the rooms a/c wasn't working well, we tried to open the windows BUT way too noisy so it was tough to get a good nights sleep even with the windows closed. Hotel was very clean though and all the staff was great from front desk, to housekeeping, to wait staff. Thanks

Comfortable stay, decent value for money
We had a one night night here as it was well located for the Vienna to Bratislava boat. the hotel was clean, the room was average size but had a large comfortable bed and the bathroom was very good, with modern fittings and a powerful shower.

Lovely staff in a well kept hotel. Beds were comfortable enough , great showers. Rooms themselves were very dark. The onsite hotel was nice for dinner, we never did the breakfasts because of the proce. It is within a 10 minute walk of Stephansplatz. The hotel is situated on a knoll and 2 out of 3 ways to get there include climbing a flight or 2 of stairs.

The location is really great and overall the staff was friendly. The property is clean however our shower drain was very plugged. We informed the hotel and it was still plugged. Additionally, I think amongst the customer service team there should be better communication. The associate that checked us in offered late check out as I joined their loyalty program. However on the day of check out, another associate told us that we were late checking out and there were no notes at all regarding our late check out. She eventually allowed us to, but my impression of the customer service due to this definitely decreased in satisfaction.

At time of booking there was no comfort or whatsoever room available, but at the arrival hotel stuff found one. In case your comfort counts to yourself, that worth a little hug to hotel stuff.

Vacation in Vienna
Very happy with our week stay at Mercure Vienna First. Reception was friendly, competent and helpful. Our room was comfortable, clean and well-equipped. Breakfast was great with a wide selection of hot and cold options - fuel for a full day. Location was excellent in a quiet, pedestrianised area - just a few minutes walk from the historic old centre and also the bus/tram/metro services to many other venues. Definitely recommended.

We loved the room and the room cleanliness and staff. We did have an issue with the breakfast. It is customary for buffet style to have unlimited access to food and drinks. Somehow the staff brings your coffee here and only after your request. It takes them time and sometimes they even forget (e.g., if you ask for a “specialty drink” such an espresso). The breakfast staff seems disorganized. The setup including the lack of unlimited access to coffee makes one feel uncomfortable (e.g, if you want to ask for a second coffee) and likely to leave prematurely. We moved to this hotel from another one that did not have A/C. The breakfast at the first place was excellent. Everything at Mercure was excellent except for breakfast which I would describe as mediocre.

So much to see in Vienna.
Our stay in Vienna was short but sweet. A beautiful city with many glorious buildings. The people were friendly and no issues with language as they all seem to speak English. The hotel is central to the city with many cafes, bars and restaurants within easy walking distance of the hotel. The only issue is that the car park for the hotel is about 150yds away. Give it a go!

The location of the hotel is excellent, the rooms are small and dark and there is dust in the room. Although we were promised a check-out at 14:00 in the morning, the receptionist told us that it was canceled and treated it unpleasantly
