Lovely, refurbished hotel in a historic corn warehouse with spacious rooms and corridors, impeccable service and friendly staff. Right next to the Danube itself. We had a double queen suite with river view, literally looking out over the river. Well worth the extra. Two words of caution: bizarrely (and it loses them a star, wife is 20 euros in the room. This seems archaic to me. Surely wifi is like water or electricity or TV these days, not an extra luxury to be paid for. Also breakfast was a surprising 18 euros , reduced from 25, per head. it was a nice breakfast, but nothing special unless you had starved for a week and needed to re-load. The location is out of town, and you should be aware that it is a 5- 8 minute walk to the metro station, followed by a 15 minute ride into the centre. Trains are frequent, safe and clean, but you should allow 30 minutes each way. HIghly recommended if the above are not of concern to you.
The hotel was a little hard to find, but not because of the location, the Vienna metro/trams can be a little overwhelming at first. The room was very nice and the staff was very helpful with every question I asked.
An excellent hotel. Staff most helpful and friendly from reception and concierge to household staff. Lovely atmosphere and most relaxing room environment with subtle lighting and lower ground lighting at night allowing safe passage to the ensuite bathroom! Touch button bath and shower cool! A most relaxing and quiet room. Lovely Spa and Gym. Only slight quibble was slowish service in foyer for an afternoon snack. All round a lovely hotel. Will be back despite the considerable expense. But I expect this not unusual for a five star hotel. It's a quality place.

We were upgraded to a suite, which was awesome. One and 1/2 baths, separate living room, huge bathroom, I felt like I had my own apartment in Vienna. Not as close to the old stadt, but close to the Bellvedere Palace and St. Peters Church, and there is a fun brewery restaurant nearby. Close to public transportation to get anywhere. Very easy to get to the airport as the S bahn station is just at the end of the street which connects in one stop to the train to the airport.
