Much nicer than expected, my room was massive and I was impressed with the bath room.
Wonderful friendly and welcoming staff. The only downfall was no wifi in the rooms.
The hotel has lots of faculties near by and is near to the tram and train station.
I will be booking this hotel again next year, we were sorry to leave.
Stopped on business, great location for the Vienna Centre. A little out of the way for the city itself, but a €20 cab ride is a small inconvenience for stopping in such a great hotel. Staff were great, room was amongst the best I've stopped in, and the food was good. Excellent views over the city from the huge windows. All in; top notch hotel.
We were upgraded to a suite, which was awesome. One and 1/2 baths, separate living room, huge bathroom, I felt like I had my own apartment in Vienna. Not as close to the old stadt, but close to the Bellvedere Palace and St. Peters Church, and there is a fun brewery restaurant nearby. Close to public transportation to get anywhere. Very easy to get to the airport as the S bahn station is just at the end of the street which connects in one stop to the train to the airport.
We enjoyed our 2 night stay, the rooms are fairly standard for this type of hotel, we however had the Executive package which gives you buffet breakfast, free mini bar and access to the executive lounge. It was raining most of the first day we were there so the executive lounge was a nice place to relax and enjoy the free snacks, it is also good to have a place to go back to in the evening rather than a small hotel room.
If you are visiting Wien for a few days, Mailberger Hof will put you in the proximity of all the must-sees&does.
Even the rooms facing the street are quite quiet. Okay, the mattresses of a **** hotel should be better but the rooms are fair sized. Breakfast lounge was spectacular and the food variety was fairly satisfactory. All day free expresso/capucino & tea in a very nice lounge was another nice gimmick.
Hotel was very cozy and clean with free parking, but with an additional fee for breakfast (~16eur not sure if per person or per room as I stayed there with my wife, we, of course, didn't pay extra fee for breakfast). WiFi might be free but with terrible reception. Only got some reception at the door. Hotel is a bit far from the transportation.
