Rooms are neat and clean. Restaurant right downstairs. Decent selection of food on the buffet. They have a pool. Close to many things: malecon, aquarium, restaurants, shops.... Friendly and helpful staff!

The hotel has the greates location of the city. The restaurant has great and delicious food. For sure I will stay there again. I will highly recommended.

Pleasant stay, good location, acceptable!
My 3rd time there, desk personnel capable and friendly, balcony views, taxi and local bus service good, complaint faulty lock boxes, and room wifi room 315 seriously lacking, sporadic! Included breakfast, simple, but adequate. Rooms large and modern. Shall stay here again, 3.5 rating.

Muy buen hotel por el precio pagado
La atención en la recepción, y el valet parking es muy buena; no obstante, en el restaurant puede mejorar. Estuve dos días en fin de semana en la habitación 315, que tiene una bonita vista parcial al mar; siempre muy limpia y el aire acondicionado funcionando perfectamente. Una limitante fue el wifi que no funcionó a pesar de haberlo reportado.

Muy buena opción de hospedaje
Muy buen hotel, limpio con habitaciones amplias y de mucho mejor calidad que otros hoteles en el mismo rango de precio. El desayuno incluido es jugo, cafe, fruta y pan. Tiene alberca aunque es pequeña.

I requested a taxi to be ready at 5 am and they forgot to schedule it. The pillow was really bad. Everything else was very good

It looks like a nice hotel, but it misses
It looks like a nice hotel, price is ok, rooms are not that bad. But the problem was that there were really noisy room neighbors and they were drunk at 4am, we called frontdesk and they did nothing. Really cold and small pool.

Great service. Super buffet breakfast
Room large with small but adequate balcony overlooking the bay. Pool small but well designed with towels and shower. Hotel super clean. Bell and front desk staff top notch. Superb fresh fruit selection as well as full cooked Bfast. Don't forget to ask for hot milk for the Veracruz cafe con lece!

Great location. Great breakfast.
Everything about this trip was great and the service at the Balaju definitely contributed to that. We could easily walk to the beach, aquarium, restaurants and places to buy souvenirs. One of the best things we remember about the Balaju though is their great complementary breakfast. It was a 5-star breakfast every morning.

When I got in to my room I noticed shower was not clean. So the bellboy just picked up the hair ball and that was it. After 45 minutes I noticed my room it's not getting cooler so I walked to the front desk. The guy at the front didn't care what I was saying, He wanted the same bellboy see why it was not working. I told him it was the bellboy that turned it on. I am not a rocket scientist but I have turned on the AC before in my life. But no he made me take the bellboy to my room. So he can tell him it's not working. Long story short I had to get the manager to change my room. As for the free breakfast. The way they were checking the coupons making sure I am the right person having to breakfast. I didn't do anything wrong but the made me feel like I was cheating. I would say no to this place! I would say if they offer me a free room. I would say no! I don't want to be in a concentration camp

Clean hotel near to the beach
I reserved a room with view to the beach, but when we arrived they gave us other room and reception Pamela promised next day we have the room but that never happened. This continued for the duration of my stay.The pillows and bed had plastic this was uncomfortable. Cafeteria and parking staff was excellent.

Overall good!
Good location, between the Central Plaza and Boca Rio (community to the south of Veracruz proper) Close to the bus station and relatively close to the airport. Beaches are near, as well as, restaurants (lots of seafood and steaks) and of course the infamous Oxxo's (convenient store) are close by. Staff was good, some better than others. Daniel the bellmen was extremely helpful and the front desk staff was very good. I had an excellent view of the ocean the street in front of the hotel. Keep in mind there is a Navy training facility directly across the street, so if you don't enjoy hearing revelry at 5 am the rooms on ocean side of the hotel maybe a problem. In say all that, the maid service was minimal at best, and the complimentary breakfast was fair.

Everyone at the hotel was welcoming and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. We had a very good night sleep. The breakfast buffet was delicious and the staff were very accommodating.

Nice hotel
Really nice hotel. It's a little far from el centro but it's still walkable. Right on the water, nice breezes at night. I'd stay here again.

Acceptable area hotel
Near acquarium, beaches, naval residence across street, hotel inludes breakfast buffet, Veracruz style, front rooms face ocean, recommend ear plugs if light sleeper, then no problems. Staff accommodating, consider area safe, although old and decrepit. Hotel relatively modern, beds comfortable. REcommended!

Staff friendly, English spoken, breakfast more Veracruz style than American, but generous. Large rooms, comfortable beds. Easy access to beach and bus to Boca and zocalo.

Awesome Hotel
I have stayed in a few other hotels in Veracruz and I keep coming back to this one. This hotel is in a great location, clean and has a wonderful breakfast buffet. The staff goes above and beyond to make help you out and make sure that you are comfortable.

It was an extremely clean hotel from the rooms to the hallways to the lobby to the parking area and so on... The managers inspect the rooms daily to check cleanliness and towels and paper... I rate it a 10

The most accommodating, helpful people on Earth!
Not only is this hotel immaculate, the staff at this hotel goes above and beyond to please their guests. Their service and sincerely beats even the best reviews at other hotels. Everything we asked for, everything we needed, everything we needed help with, they did for us with a smile. On one occasion, I needed to get in touch with a school in Veracruz and my internet connection would not work. One of the front desk representatives used her personal email account and typed exactly what I had written in English. Jorge, the bell man, became an instant friend. He is bilingual and translated for us with the other staff, taxis and bent over backwards to assist at every turn. The food in the restaurant is amazing and the staff there is right on point also! If you ever go to Veracruz, I can't imagine you will find a more incredible hotel experience with people who are the nicest anywhere!

The hotel manager Was very helpful And friendly in accosting our needs. This hotel is a great bargain for $55 dollars a night, but I would not pay more than that. Overall a nice place.

meet up friends for a weekend in veracruz and the four of us split a double room, nice location on the beach front, we were able to walk to the downtown zocalo, great free breakfast but be careful they will try to charge you if you get food off a certain serving table. super clean rooms. good wifi

Great staff - not all speak English but several do. The complimentary breakfast americano was very good - rooms are very clean. Avoid the beach next to the aquarium - very crowded and dirty. Walk north 4 blocks and a much nicer beach ( recommended by the staff )

The hotel staff made us feel unwelcome. Almost as we were an inconvience. Could not print airline tickets from their business center. Breakfast was not so good. If you want to sleep in. Well hope you don't have a room across.from the marine training camp.
