Handy location with friendly staff

Posted 23-Oct-2014
Pros: Quiet and clean
Cons: The hot water supply struggled at peak times.
Location: As stated previously the waterbus stop is within easy walking distance which is handy for the main tourist attraction Venice City; the beach is 300m.
The hotel is within easy walking distance of the waterbus stop which is a bonus after a long day sightseeing. The room was of a decent size and all furniture was serviceable and fairly new; it was clean. The reception staff were welcoming and all staff were friendly. Food for breakfast was variable and plentiful, from cereal to bacon and eggs ; nothing ran out and was replenished quickly.

Much better than we had expected. Excellent locale

VERY GOOD location, very easy to get to St Marks. Excellent waterbus facilities to the other islands, to all the stops in Venice, for sightseeing, shopping, eating. Could not ask for any more. Luka the receptionist was very helpful. Maybe a couple of the others were abrupt and quite matter of fact. But it did not bother us too much. Hotel computer was one of the slowest, and I could not get on to the Internet, my Email or Facebook. Breakfast for the 4 day we were there was more than adequate. Any longer, and I would have said it was repetitive. But the hotel was very clean, and linen changed regularly. I would recommend it strongly to anyone who does not wish to stay in Venice itself. The beach too was nearby, and I went in for a swim in the warmish water. Overall, very good.

Our Saviors

Posted 20-Jun-2014 on Hotels.com
This place really was our saving grace. We were booked to stay at a hostel that fell through on us last minute. I was able to get a great deal and book a room the morning of. The hotel staff was so friendly, welcoming and helpful. They did whatever they could to accommodate us and really sympathized with my friend and I after our horrible experience. When we were late for breakfast they still let us eat and were very helpful in assisting us to print our plan documents. The room was quite comfortable in my opinion. It had a really nice spacious bathroom, cold A/C and plenty of drawer space so I can't complain at all! I am very thankful for this place because it changed the entire mood of the trip. Being in Lido was a lot better than Venice and it added a sense of relaxation to be away from all the tourists.

Le Boulevard . Lido Venice

Posted 19-Jun-2014
Pros: Clean, good bathrooms and location
Cons: ....
Location: Close to Valporetto stop and all the shops, restaurants and bars on the Lido. A short walk to the beach.
Good well maintained hotel. We stayed in a standard room with excellent bathroom (inc bath). Breakfast reasonable with varied choices including fruit and small hot selection. Location ideal for the Valporetto

Good no frills Hotel. Excellent friendly staff.

Posted 06-Jun-2014
Pros: Helpful staff. A welcoming, friendly atmosphere. A good breakfast and everything worked.
Cons: Better lighting in the bathroom.
Location: We only used the hotel and local restaurants as a base to visit Venice. We understand there is a nice beach and facilities for families.
Very well situated just 3 minutes from the Vaparetto stop. 10 mins from St Marks Square. Being just away from Central Venice has very positive advantages. It is nice to return in the late afternoon to a less frenetic atmosphere. The more sensible prices of both the Hotel and the very good local restaurants is a major bonus.

Helpful staff, hotel looks slightly dated but it's comfortable. Perfect location for getting to the water bus or beach and loads of restaurants around too - would recommend!

Good position

Posted 03-Jun-2014
Pros: Good position
Cons: Later breakfast
Location: The beach is a 10 min stroll away, unfortunately we didn't get time for a visit on this occasion.
This is close to the water bus stop. There are some nice caf├ęs and bars nearby. A supermarket across the street that opens late in the evening. Every thing is to hand. It's a busy area in the day but a good position. Having stayed actually in Venice before we thought the lido might not be so good but with the regular water buses it's no problem. Infact you could get a good position on the boat for the photos are you approach the lagoon or a ride up the grand canal. Easy acces to murano as well.
