Casa Tia Micha is in a great location, just a few steps from the central plaza and several great restaurants. As location goes, it can't get any better! The common areas of the hotel are lovely. We specially appreciated having breakfast outdoors in the garden. The room was very comfortable for my husband, our 2 daughter, and I. When we arrived we found several free bottles of water in the fridge and great coffee. After a drive from Tulum the water and the coffee were really appreciated!

Wonderful, clean, safe place to stay in the center of town. What really stood out is the staff. Every staff member we encountered was so welcoming and helpful. The room itself was good but not ideal. We stayed in the Santa Ana. The bathroom was small (shower only), the room layout a bit awkward, and the bed was quite firm and gave me a backache. Also, the “pool” is actually a tiny jacuzzi so if you’re looking for a swimming pool, go enjoy the cenote down the street instead!

I have stayed at Casa Tia Micha four times now. It is a charming, friendly family hotel. The owners and staff are gracious hosts who make every effort to have your stay be pleasant and comfortable. Breakfasts are delicious! The new spa is a welcome addition. It is very close to the town square, Casa de los Venados, Zaci cenote, shopping, etc. The gardens are very pretty and I would (and do) recommend this wonderful petite hotel to friends and family.

Mexican Oasis
This is a beautiful boutique hotel with the best customer service ever! Everything feels so personalized that it is impossible not to feel special and welcomed. The place is stunning, the rooms gorgeous and the garden/jacuzzi/breakfast area to die for. Oh, and it is less than a block away from the main square. Book it! You won´t regret it!

I would like to start with by saying big thank you to everyone at Casa Tia Micha. My son had his birthday while we were there and they went out of their way to make it such a nice and fun memory for all of us. We appreciate the spacious and super clean rooms. And we were really impressed by the decor of the building and the landscape of the backyard. You feel so relaxed sitting among the plants, seeing the butterflies dancing in the sun. The complementary breakfast was also a highlight. It comes with three courses, like at a high-end restaurant. Everything is freshly prepared on spot and tastes delicious. Hard to beat! All the staff members we encountered were super nice and delightful to talk to. They work very hard to keep the high quality of this hotel. We highly recommend it anyone who wants to experience top-notch hospitality at a charming hacienda in a historical Mexican town.

Everything about this place is fantastic
As soon as we walked through the door, we were in awe. The lighting filtered though the the healthy plants and trees contrasting against the brightly colored walls, and couldn't wait to get through the check in process so we could explore a bit more. This is the type of place where rounding every corner is a new fabulous sight that I wanted to capture with my camera (and I did). But it went beyond that - the room was super comfortable and spacious. decorated beautifully. The service was impeccable, the breakfast out in the courtyard delicious - we were even treated to a breakfast dessert after breakfast! Don't hesitate to book here.

Hot night in Valladolid
Well, the place is nice but as the air conditioning was not working (ventilation but no cold). I had my worst night in Mexico... It is hard for me to believe that the management did not know about it when I checked in. The least would have been to disclose the issue so I don't lose time trying to figure it out and open all windows immediately.

Nice hotel close to town
Nice hotel but no way it is 4.8 stars. Staff at check in is very pleasant but check in behind a metal gate. very unusual for what we are used to. room was dated. Air conditioning only ok. Screens torn in places. Room needed updating and the lock to our door did not work. On the other hand, the garden was very pleasant and breakfast was excellent.

We loved the Tia Mischa. After early arrival we were a bit worried, but the room was unusual, cute and great value. The staff is very attentive. Unfortunately our Spanish is not great but we could communicate. Their English is not great, but better than our Spanish. Little touches make this place super special.

This Hotel was AMAZING. Will stay here again, highly recommend it. Spacious room, large bathroom, updated, well decorated, super clean. Quiet Air conditioner. Window screens from bugs. Felt super luxurious. Great quiet area - you can keep your windows open over night to hear the birds signing in the morning. The breakfast was served in a garden - it felt like a 5 star restaurant.

A very nice small hotel, very near to the center
The hotel is small and the staff is lovely and warm. From the outside it looks like nowhere but once you pass the street door you are in a different world! Breakfast was great as well.

Love this place
Amazing little hidden boutique hotel in Valladolid. The antique decor is super cool and very unexpected. Fridge is stocked with free drinks, bathrooms are very neatly designed as well. Breakfast is ridiculously tasty and the owner who hosts you is such a lovely person you can't help but leave in a great mood to start your explorations of the city or nearby Chichin Itza.

Small Boutique Hotel
We had a reservation at the Casa Tia Micha. But upon getting to our room the AC was not working. Apparently the owners have a couple of other properties nearby. So we were quickly and politely moved to another property down the street to Casa Marlene, which was fine. Both properties were very quaint and attractive. The staff was super helpful and polite and the rooms are sparsely decorated, but nicely done. The location is right near the center with great access to shops and restaurants.

Amazing gem in Vallodolid!
My husband and I stayed at Casa Tia Micha the first night of our honeymoon and adored this hotel! It perfectly reflects the charm of Valladolid itself and feels like staying with your own charming Tia. We arrived after a long day of travel and were immediately provided complimentary agua frescas and cold beers by the hotel staff. We had just come from our destination wedding at a more upscale hotel that charged fees for everything. The staff at Casa Tia Micha gave us beverages, suggestions for where to tour and dine, and assistance using their phone to make reservations for our next stop (Merida), and when we asked them how much they said everything was free and they were there to serve us! The location may not look like much from the street, but it is a wonderfully charming oasis as soon as you step through the door. The garden is secluded and beautifully decorated. We had friends visit us and we were able to entertain them in the beautifully lit garden patio. The room was very tastefully decorated, spacious, clean, and a pleasing mix between modern amenities and a historic feel. The hygiene products are high quality and smell amazing! Bed comfort left a bit to be desired, but was better than some more expensive hotels in MX The breakfast was the best we had on our whole trip - quite large and unique to the region. They offered us more of everything, but we were too full to accept! We can't recommend this hotel highly enough! Don't miss it if in Valladolid!

Charming boutique hotel in center of Valladolid
Casa Tia Micha was a very charming boutique hotel in the city center of Valladolid. I believe it used to be a colonial mansion and has been tastefully converted, retaining much of the original period detail. It's not "luxurious" - but it's clean, comfortable, elegant and charming. There are only 7 or 8 rooms, so it feels private and intimate. The staff who work there were all very polite and helpful. Breakfast is offered at another boutique hotel next door (same owner), and it was one of the most delicious breakfasts we've had during our 10-day vacation in Mexico. It's a multi-course breakfast with fruit, eggs with longaniza, empanada and crepe(!) And great coffee!!

Asked for honeymoon suite. Big, spacious, clean, comfortable and very friendly staff. Loved the breakfast setup and offerings, where staff provides more personal touch with local cuisine presented with pride and care. Centrally located as well.

Séjour parfait dans un charmant hotel
Notre séjour dans ce petit hôtel authentique nous a charmé. Situé au cœur de la charmante et vivante ville de Valladolid, nous avons profité de ce havre de paix, à courte distance de marche du parc central, du Cenote et de la jolie rue menant au monastère. La chambre était parfaite, de style traditionnel. Le jardin ombragé offre un cadre idyllique pour le copieux petit déjeuner. Le personnel est très attentionné.

Als wir ankamen, müssten wir noch ca. eine Stunde auf unser Zimmer warten. Sofort würden uns Erfrischungen angeboten und wir haben einige Tipps für den Aufenthalt in Valadolid bekommen. Wir haben im Sisal-Zimmer residiert, wie die Könige. Der Zimmer-Pool war gigantisch. Alles war sehr sauber. Das Personal war immer zur Stelle, wenn man es benötigt hat. Zum Frühstück gab es ein mexikanisches 3-Gänge Menü, das wirklich frisch und köstlich war. Wir haben nichts vermisst. Der gesamte Innenhof ist traumhaft mit tropischen Pflanzen begrünt. Wir haben uns zu jeder Zeit pudelwohl und sicher gefühlt. Eine kleine, familiäre Unterkunft, die wir guten Gewissens jedem Reisenden empfehlen können. Unbedingt mind. zwei Nächte buchen, um nicht nur den Charme der Casa Tia Micha zu erleben, sondern auch um die bezaubernde Stadt zu genießen. Schade, dass wir nur zwei Nächte verbleiben könnten.

Charmante Oase in historischem Herrenhaus
Wir wurden in die Casa marlene umgeleitet, was ein Glück war. Es handelt sich um eine charmante, kleine Oase inmitten eines tropischen Gartens in einem historischen Herrenhaus. Das Personal und die Besitzer sind sehr zuvorkommend, stehen für alle Fragen zur Verfügung. Das Frühstück ist sehr umfangreich und sehr lecker, kein amerikanisches Einheitsessen, sondern ein mehrgängiges Menu mit frischen Säften, Früchten, mexikanischen Hauptgerichten und Süßspeisen. Das Haus liegt total zentral, um diese, noch nicht vom Tourismus verdorbene Stadt per Fuß zu erkunden. Idealer Ausgangspunkt für Besuche nach Chichen Itza/Coba etc.

Nous y avons passé une nuit lors de notre escale à Valladolid avant Chichén Itza. Parfaitement situé à - de 300m des principales attractions (Église, marché, cenotes Zaci...), petit hotel familial où on est reçu comme à la maison! Accueil magnifique, gentillesse extrême des propriétaires qui vous reçoivent chez eux et se plient en 4 pour vous satisfaire. Chambre très propre, ptit dej typique local et très bon, petit bassin pour se rafraîchir et jardin très agréable. Allez y !!! Je vous recommande aussi le Resto El Atrio a 200m avec un excellent rapport qualité prix et un patio très agréable

Un coin de paradis à Valladolid Yucatan
Cet endroit est magique, jardin interieur avec arbres, piscine petite "terrasse" magnifique! Les patrons sont d'une gentillesse comme nous n'en trouvons plus de nos jours, goûtez à la mangue franche et son jus au petit déjeuner, le soir un petit alcool fait maison pour digérer.... Sur la route de Chichen Itza, pour nous le meilleur endroit où passer une ou plusieurs nuits reposantes dans de magnifique chambres! Le personnel est souriant, serviable et très gentil ce qui est rare de nous jours.... MERCIiiiiiiijji
