Spent one night at this apartotel as part of a longer trip. Room was large and had two bedrooms and two bathrooms. But there was a strong cleaning odour that overwhelmed you when you entered the room. Leaving windows open for several hours managed to clear most of the smell.

Had two bookings and mixed experiences - first room was supposed to be a twin for myself and my son but only had queen bed with no bedding to make up sofa bed, second was apartment for four people which was huge and perfectly set out with two bathrooms and four single beds. Both had some equipment missing, but amazing large patios/balconies. Underground secured parking was definitely appreciated and the location was great for us in terms of shops around and the ability to cycle into Valencia or take the bus.

It is a holiday aparthotel, actually a 2-star hotel. The rooms are spacious and clean. Not very satisfied with the breakfast, but it is the breakfast of a 2 star hotel.

It's just perfect, the room (apartment) space is great, all amenities are there, and the breakfast is also good. One thing is that they don't provide daily (or at least day after day) room cleaning, they offer it for a charge, or after 3 nights

We stayed for 2 nights over Christmas holiday. The room was spaceous with all the amenities. The room was clean. The staff was welcoming. The WiFi worked well. The breakfast was very good. There was a huge grocery store nearby. This apartment hotel is excellent for pepole with a car. I can recommend this hotel to all my friends.

Far From Downtown
The Apartahotel Albufera was very far (15 minute taxi) from the Historic downtown area of Valencia, and another 15 minute taxi ride from the beach. Aside from the travel distance to the main historic attractions, the hotel was very clean, the staff was incredibly helpful, although they spoke mostly Spanish if you don't, and there were several shopping and dining option within a block or two of the hotel. The hotel was close to the Parque Albufera, a beautiful wilderness, if that is your reason for visiting Valencia. However, if you wish to see the historic sites or the beach, choose some place with a slightly more convenient location.

Surprisingly good.
Very good roomy apartment for the price. Well looked after with change of linen every 3 days, good Wi-fi, etc. Good kitchen with oven, dishwasher and big fridge freezer, ample pans, limited crockery (no wine glasses!) and cutlery (no scissors, bottle opener, spatula, only one sharp knife etc). No kettle or coffeemaker or filter. What you could cook would be limited, but we thought the place overall offered very good value. It’s situated in the middle of a retail park so setting not ideal, but free parking and at least 10 ‘restaurants’ within walking distance. 2 supermarkets just minutes away. 20 minutes walk to mainline rail station with very frequent trains and about 10 minute journey to city centre.

Easy to find, free parking, friendly staff, nice large room. Only downside was there was a kitchenette area with fridge/freezer, microwave, and dishwasher but no kettle?? We asked but got told to boil water in a pan, they don't supply kettles.

Value for money
Good sized room with very comfortable bed. Kitchen needs a plug, dishwashing liquid, pot scrubber and a tea towel. They do have a dishwasher however pot grime doesn't come of in a dishwasher.Cleaning is much to be desired with hair on the floor in our bathroom and in the gym toilet. The gym needs repairs done to the equipment with the bike that squeaks and rower that doesn't work at all. Pool was closed for repairs and we were offered the one across the carpark as a replacement however not ideal.

Family holiday in self-catering apart-hotel
Comfortable and spacious apartment. Good sized fridge/freezer. Sadly the self-catering facilities were somewhat spoiled by a lack of crockery, cooking utensils, pans and cutlery. The shutter/blinds kept the sun and heat out fantastically, but he air-con was well received nonetheless. The pool and sun terrace are great and not too busy. The vast majority of guests were spanish. Daily maid service was very good, and the multi-lingual 24 hour reception desk was very helpful. Very good location for exploring the city and surrounding areas. In spite of the shortfalls in the kitchen we enjoyed a relaxing 10 night break with our daughters aged 2 and 7. We will definitely return; a great find!

Excellent value for money. We were in Valencia viewing potential apartments to buy for our retirement in 7 months. Facilities at Albufera ApartHotel were above expectations. Taxis were all very familiar with the place and all amenities and restaurants were within short walking distance. Easy access to highway into Valencia and also Southwards towards Alicante. The free parking was really helpful as after the long drive from Geneva, it was reassuring to have a secured parking for our car.

Good apartments at a good price
Nice large room. Not many plates, cups and glasses etc. Free parking right outside and only a few miles out of the centre. We caught the train in which is about a 20 minute walk away.

Yes, it is cheap. But cheap does not mean it can be dirty. Upon arrival we had to clean first before we even dared to touch anything. Sofa smells like 20 year old train seat. bedlinen was too small. Linen actually means mattress is covered with just one sheet. no mattress cover or protector. But because the sheet was too small you basically sleep on the mattress! And on top of the sheet was a blanket. Why still blankets?? We did book a room that was non smoking but the cigarette burns were everywhere and the smell was not possible to get rid off. Also the blanket. Then there was breakfast. Although we did pay for it we just skipped it. The only thing that was edible were the croissants. The instant coffee that we made in our room (by boiling water in a pan) was a lot tastier! Absolutely ridiculous! We did not want to spend a lot during our stay but I am sure there are better options that are clean! Walking with your bare feet on the street probably does not give your as dirty feet as you get from walking inside our room. The hotel does have a pool, but that was closed during our stay. Staff was very friendly though. never again.

Stayed in a 2 bed apartment, loads of room. Good rooms and kitchen was equipped enough for what we needed. Possibly more knifes and utensils. Bathroom was good, clean and new looking. We were just around the corner from the swimming pool and bar which I was happy about as it was quiet.

Very good size apartment and good value great kitchen but as people mentioned before it needs far more kitchen equipment though we needed large plates a sharp knife, a chopping board, some mugs, a sieve, just basic things really its next to a huge ikea so odd that the hotel did not source this stuff very cheaply! We had a very noisy room we were next door to a huge generator we could hear it 24 hours a day, not relaxing. It also it needs some shade by the pool, its an open area with no shade at all, it was 37 degrees during our visit. The pool is very deep, no shallow part which can be a problem with kids. Just one bus once an hour to the city was also a low light a shuttle bus would help! resolve this. If there are more than 2 of you it can cost the same to get a taxi if going to the beach or science museum as you need to get 2 or more buses .The apartments are located outside the city in a shopping area its in a commercial retail area next to a moterway car noise was constant. Its not an area that people live, they just drive to it.The cleaners were really lovely and rooms very clean also the staff were very helpful. The internet password was changed twice a day which was annoying and odd. Rubbish outside was blowing outside the building which is not the hotel fault thought but was not nice to walk through it, everything is closed there on a Sunday which is worth knowing. Its next to a huge Carfour and Lidil a lots of large retail shops selling sofas, homeware.

Very good overall - lacking kitchen equipment
This hotel is in a slightly out of town location, being situated in what seems to be a not-quite-finished retail park. It's a Best Western hotel, and we had to go over the road to the main hotel to check in and for breakfast. There is a fairly good selection of takeaways and restaurants in the area, though I didn't use any of them. there is also a Lidl and a Carrefour supermarket. The hotel has a free car park and is about 10-15 mins drive from the city. It is also a nice quiet location. the staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast cost 5 euros per person for adults and was fine if nothing special. The apartment had one good size double room with plenty of space for a travel cot, which the hotel provided. there is also a single room. the main room has an en suite with bath and shower - no shower curtain, oddly. there also a separate shower room with a toilet. There is a living room area with a two seater sofa and one armchair. there was a small table and fours chairs and a TV - mostly Spanish language but there was an English news channel. The kitchen was small and poorly equipped. there was no kettle or coffee maker and when we asked for something to boil water in, they provided a large saucepan about the diameter of a typical frying pan - hardly ideal for a couple of cups of coffee! could also have done with things like a bread knife, corkscrew and a better selection of mugs and glasses.

Big apartment but otherwise disappointing
Not great. Location was difficult to get to w/ current road construction. Apartment was spacious with 2 actual BR and bathrooms but that was all that was good. Not a lot surrounding it. Furniture in terrible shape. Dishes still in dishwasher and not cleaned and trash still there from prior occupants (including spoiled milk in the fridge). Staff not available to deal with these issues. While car parked there got 3 fully nude call-girl business cards that i was able to pitch before the kids got an eye-full.
