Junior suite tastefully decorated with nice finishes. Lots of old timbers used sensitively to create an old feel chalet with really modern amenities
Big enough to suit a family with bunk beds as well as main bedroom. Large lounge and enormous outdoor terrace with city and mountain view.
Staff were super friendly and welcoming.

Stayed at St Georges for a 5 night cycling trip. Family run hotel with very helpful staff. Hotel is clean, well maintained and the rooms are very comfortable. Breakfast was good. There is no restaurant or bar as such but you can still get a beer or soft drink with crisps and sit outside in the sun or in the lounge area. Parking is perfect with charging and a secure lock up for the bukes. Short walk into town. Definitely recommend and ideal for a cycling trip.

A last minute decision to have a few days in Courchevel 1850. The standard of service from all staff was faultless. The room was spacious and very comfortable. The restaurant was superb, the bar staff friendly and courteous, the ski hire and ski room excellent. I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel. You certainly get what you pay for.

We spent our honeymoon here in January and it was fabulous. We had a room overlooking the slopes and the outdoor pool, which I'd recommend. It truly is ski-in, ski-out, which makes it v convenient.
We did half-board and ate most nights in the 2Mille3 restaurant and once in La Laiterie. I'd thoroughly recommend both. Breakfasts were also lovely. The bar is also a really nice place to relax before dinner.
Staff were very polite and helpful and they have a driver to shuttle you into town if...

Hotel is in a perfect location. The staff are friendly and attentive. Bed was comfy and my children loved the bunk beds. We were able to arrange a transfer from Geneva airport via the hotel which really helped us out.
The staff were kind enough to make us a breakfast package on the last day to take with us. It was huge! The locker room with boot heaters with direct access to the piste. The piste is very well kept and the free 3 enormous magic carpets made learning so much easier for my children...

This hotel is run by one of the most professional staff teams that I have ever encountered. Without exception every employee that we dealt with went out of their way to be helpful and courteous. It seemed that nothing was too much or too difficult if it meant the guests enjoyment of the hotel was increased. In addition extra touches such as laying out your skis out in the snow ready to jump straight on, or serving your dinner in the lounge so as not to miss the world cup game were greatly...

The best time to go to Val-Thorens is generally from early December to late April, as this period offers the most reliable snow conditions for skiing and snowboarding.
Val-Thorens is Europe's highest ski resort, ensuring a long and consistent ski season. The resort is purpose-built, meaning that ski-in/ski-out access is common, and you're never far from the lifts, shops, or restaurants. The main commercial areas are concentrated around the Place de Caron and the Rue du Soleil.
For those looking for prime conditions and the full resort experience, January and February are ideal. The snow quality is typically at its best during these months, and the resort is fully operational with all facilities and events running. This is great for serious skiers and snowboarders who want to maximise their time on the slopes.
Families often find March and early April particularly enjoyable. The days are longer, the sun is generally warmer, and the snow remains excellent, especially at Val-Thorens' high altitude.
Where can I find the best nightlife in Val-Thorens?
Val-Thorens offers a range of nightlife options, primarily centred around the resort's main areas. You'll find most establishments within walking distance of each other.
The main resort centre, particularly around the Place de Caron and Rue du Soleil, is where you'll find a concentration of pubs, bars, and a few nightclubs. These places often feature DJs playing chart music or, in some cases, live bands. Many bars here offer après-ski drinks that continue into the evening.
For those looking for a more relaxed evening, several hotels and residences have their own bars, which are generally quieter and offer a selection of cocktails and wines.
