We really enjoyed our time here in early March. The weather was perfect and the food was the best we had while in Peru. We are every meal here and didn’t even venture out. They kept our bags for us when we went to Machu Pichu and david provided great service

A gem in the Sacred Valley
Sol y Luna is one of these unforgettable places! Located in the Sacred Valley, this charming or rather gorgeous property is surrounded by the Andes and benefits from the best climate ever. Not to mention the birds preserve, the flower garden and the attention to every detail possible. It is a gem of a place! Loved my "casita", a round and spacious room, sophisticatedly decorated and appointed with everything one could need to feel pampered. Service was mostly attentive though slightly cold and impersonal. The breakfast spread was out of this world.

My second visit to this very special place. I just wish my daughter and I had stayed longer, would have loved to go riding with their wonderful horses. It was an absolute pleasure to stay there, many congratulations to the owner. She has managed to create a unique place in the fantastic Urubamba.

The Sol y Luna is a little piece of paradise in the beautiful Sacred Valley of the Incas. The casitas were comfortable (a hot water bottle in bed each night quite a treat!), grounds beautiful and meticulously cared for, staff warm and attentive, and the restaurant offerings delicious. Special thanks to Senovio, whose careful driving got us safely to all the sites we wanted to see.

AMAZING!!
I am still on vacation but had to take time to review this hotel. The pictures on Expedia do not do this place justice and I would suggest they update them asap! From check-in to check out this resort was first class. Our "casita" was fully equipped and extremely clean and well taken care of. We had two fireplaces and even our own hot tub! If you are booking, I would suggest booking a casita with a fireplace (we had number 41). The staff went out of their way to make sure we were taken care of the entire time. If there is anything you need they will not hesitate to get it for you. No, there are not activity guides in the room but honestly, it's not hard to pick up a phone and ask the front desk. The food was amazing!!! Try the quinoa soup at the ranch, I'm still drooling over it. All fresh and well thought out menus! The last night of our stay we played cards by the fire in the ranch and they brought us free appetizers! The wait staff are extremely attentive and kind. We never waited for anything whether it be food, bills, drinks. Always amazing over our three-night stay! The grounds are immaculate and the most beautiful gardens I've seen. Very well taken care of and very peaceful. The stables are also a nice touch and fun to visit in the mornings when no one else is around. Overall I would just come back to Peru to stay here. I wish we could've stayed longer! Thanks Petitt and the rest of the staff for making our stay special!

Great Resort in Urubamba
Great place for a quiet stay. Gardens are just lovely and very peaceful. The resort is a little bit out of the town but transport (taxi) was only 10 soles. Transport is very cheap in Urubamba. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Carlos (front office) was extremely helpful in arranging taxi tours with non English speaking drivers.

One of the worst service experiences
The service was terrible! For a Relaix & Chateaux hotel, we weee very surprised. Taken to the wrong room at check in, told that our room had been moved another night without permission to touch our bags (ended up being a mistake on their end). We were not taken care of at all. The staff is dangerously incompetent at the front desk. We were also told they would take care of tickets to Machu Pichu and they ended up getting us only train tickets, had to get tickets at the site. All in All a pretty stressful stay for a spa. A beautiful hotel but staff needs to be trained!

Paradise in the Sacred Valley
I cannot say enough how impressed I was with Sol y Luna. My husband and I stayed here for a day to acclimatize before hiking the Inca Trail and all we can say is we wish we had stayed longer!! 1) The grounds are stunning, like your own personal hidden garden. 2) We were upgraded to a Deluxe Suite and are so thankful! We had heated floors, king bed, gorgeous bathroom, and amazing view, and total privacy. They came around at night with hot water bottles for the end of your bed, and built a fire for us, it was perfect. 3) Both restaurants are phenomenal. Make sure to leave enough time to enjoy the complimentary breakfast in the morning. We were pressed for time in the morning and had to be out by 10am and went to breakfast at 9:30am and it was not enough time to enjoy all the different types of breads, cheese, spreads, etc. It was decadent! 4) Also, I would recommend the spa to anyone! We did the mud wrap package which included time in the sauna, a salt scrub, a mud wrap, and a massage!!!! It lasted more than 2 hours and was PERFECT! I literally cannot say a bad thing about Sol y Luna! It was the best night of luxury we could have asked for before we hike the Inca Trail!

Stunning hotel
We were here for a quick stay but didn't want to leave. The room was incredible and the grounds are large and adorned with all kinds of flower species. Add to that the helpful staff, delicious food and horses and this is just really an incredible place to stay. We wouldn't change a single thing.

The Casita we stayed in was beautiful with an amazing view of the mountains. The landscaping was well done. The breakfast (included) was good and service began early which was helpful because we were able get something to eat before our excursions.

Beautiful hotel in great setting with friendly staff. Good food in the two restaurants. My only criticism was that the cost of a glass of wine was out of proportion to the meal cost - 35 soles for a single glass of local wine.

A great stay after a 4 day jungle trek
We were 4 friends (2 guys and 2 girls) who stayed in a quadruple room. After a 4 day Machu Picchu jungle trail tour staying in "basic" accommodation this hotel was a god send. Our room was huge and the boys beds were in their own mezzanine area. The breakfast was fantastic as was Wayra restaurant where we had lunch and dinner. Us girls went horse riding on amazing well looked after horses while the boys went quad biking - all of us had a great time. And to top it off we had hot water bottles in our beds at night! Only minor complaint - where was the TV?!! We were desperate for some news after 4 days in the jungle. And the wifi wasn't the best - signal was weak and the speed was not the fastest.

Best hotel in Cusco
I have travel to Cuzco many times and I have never stay in such a wonderful hotel. The staff was great and very helpful, the rooms and the view was amazing the property is so big and there are many things to do and explore. I specially love the spa and the show they put in the rancho. I can't wait to go back again.

We stayed in a number of luxury hotels in the Cusco, Sacred Valley and Aguas Calientes area and Sol y Luna was the best. The staff were genuinely warm and helpful. Excellent hôtel, de luxe
L’hôtel est de très grande qualité. Le prix des chambres est en conséquence mais il est justifié. Deux très bons restaurants. Petit déjeuner excellent. Chambre familiale vaste. Personnel attentionné.
