"I was not looking forward to this trip because I thought it would be Vegas on steroids. I loved it! Hotel was great although they gave us a nice upgrade. Loved Laguna on the property for drinks at night. Very helpful organizing day trips, go to global village (overwhelming), miracle garden, desert safari, Pierchic for dinner, took helicopter tour from nearby Atlantis. "

"We would have loved to seen/received the VIP amenities promised but we didn't get any of the,. We arrived at the hotel early and were told there was no upgraded rooms and no such VIP amenities. The hotel was fantastic though and we enjoyed every min of being there. We will come again. Just rather we didn't have the VIP carrot dangled in front of us by Expedia - not the hotel."

"Same staff members were amazing though: the buggy cart driver that took us from the bungalow to the parking with our luggage was genuinely showing interest in our stay. Also we did a hike to a nearby camel farm through the sand dunes, guided by the pool life guard. The hike through the dunes was really fun and the guide was great! It’s also worth pointing out that this activity was included in the all inclusive package which was a nice touch."

"We stayed in the tent for 1 night. It was only bearable to be inside (even with aircon) after 6pm and before 7/8am! However it was lovely and clean and beautiful surroundings, with toilets etc. the service at dinner however was awful - we were sat down for 45 mins before we got our drinks or even cutlery, then we found out our order hadn’t even been placed. "Amazing! I was planning to stay few days just to avoid the flood and ended staying 25 days. Is a hidden gem in Dubai. The only peaceful beach in Dubai. The service amazing! Harshit the manager of the restaurant, Wine the waitress. Wow! Lovely place!"
