This place has very clean rooms.
I have to say I was surprised how clean and neat the room was. I had the king bed deluxe room. I expected a lot less for the price. I will stay there again. I would like to see the stairs repaired. They definitely left the light on.

Well worth my stay.

This hotel was booked for a business trip. The hotel charges a $100 deposit on all 3rd party bookings... This is Motel 6, not the Ritz... Our employee was checking in, she called me to verify the room info. She was told there was a $100 deposit.... While on the phone I asked why? The hotel employee informed me that "it is not your concern"... I bet to differ.

For a motel I was expecting it to be okay overall. But it wasn’t. The staff was pleasant, friendly and knowledgeable. We arrived early and was given a room right away. The room was neat and clean and we had a wonderful stay. I recommend this motel over the fancy hotels any day.

This place is nasty, non-smoking room smells like smoke. Clean feet walking on the carpet (which feels moist and sticky) and in a few minutes and the bottom of my feet are black! And the AC unit is set on a timer where it shuts off and has no control of the room temperature (its smoldering). The water in the bathroom doesnt get cold at all so theres no respite from the heat! The pillows and bed are hard (Also not a huge deal but no complimentary single use shampoo and/or conditioner.) Overall do not recommend 🙅‍♀️ i do not usually leave reviews but this place is so bad. Would only stay here again if pushed to desperation.

The hotel will require $100 deposit which is posted to the credit card. Then the hotel staff inspect the room before departure in order to receive the deposit back. Never experienced anything like this and didn’t appreciate this treatment.

Yes mam. Sorry you never experienced that but that’s the way we keep our non smoking room 100% non smoking. It’s little odd experience for you but the room you stayed in was never ever smoked in. Very sorry for you to feel little awkward but that policy keeps our non smoking room the way it should be.

Enjoyed my one night stay. The lady at the front desk was very nice, and check-in was quick. When we walked into the room, you could smell that the room had been recently cleaned, and the room amd the bathroom were very clean. There were plenty of outlets around the room and by the bed to charge whatever electronics you had. Not a lot of extra amenities but we were just look for a good, safe place to sleep. There was no extra noise during the night. There was no breakfast bar, but again, we wouldn't have used it anyway. There is also a small pool. Motel is also closed to a lot of important businesses. If we ever come through Tyler again, would definitely stay there again.

There wasn't any hot water, the tv didn't work well and the people next door were yelling and talking extremely loud. There is no coffee pot or coffee in the room.

I called ahead to let them know I would be arriving near midnight. When I got there, the staff was happy to help me get set up. I misplaced my card the next day, and they helped me get a replacement quickly. The staff was polite and quick to get me taken care of. The room had a couch, a desk and chair, a small table, a television, and three clothes drawers of varying sizes. After a flight and a good night's rest on the bed, I was up and ready to take on the day. It isn't anything ritzy, but if all you need is a place to sleep and plan the day in the morning, it'll do the job. The property is also conveniently within walking distance to a car rental place, so if you need to rent a vehicle the next day, as in my case, it's in the perfect spot!

Morel 6 has always been “bare bones,” no shampoo or conditioner, no in room coffee, no breakfast, etc. which is great for a bare bones price. This particular Motel 6 is overpriced and yet keeps the bare bones accoutrements. You get more for the same price elsewhere.

Very well maintained properly. A little disappointed with being bothered so early to housekeeping everyday. If they could accommodate those out of state in regards to their time would be nice and not continue to knock or call with housekeeping. Also if they could have DO NO DISTURB door hanging or signage would be nice. Especially when you have pets with you.
